Casa Hotel

This hotel would be nice anywhere but is definitely a welcome surprise in Chesterfield, especially as in the past we have struggled to find premier lodgings in Chesterfield when visiting family. It clearly is the premier place to stay when in Chesterfield or the surrounding areas. The hotel has a great ambiance, very nice architecture and design which is reflected in a nice spacious lobby, great artwork and lighting. Plenty of parking, close to Chesterfield stadium and a shopping park opposite with takeaway restaurants and a supermarket. We stayed in a sauna/spa room, as we booked late we did pay a premium, more than expected and unfortunately the sauna was not working but we did receive small amount off our bill. The room was extremely specious, very clean and immaculately appointed with nice touches, artwork and furniture. Plush bedding, plush carpets and extra pillows. The minibar was fully loaded and we appreciated the complimentary drinks. The balcony with a hot tub and sauna are really nice although our view wasn't great (the car park). All the staff are extremely professional, well dressed and well mannered, they really make it feel like a premium establishment. The bar area and dining areas again were presented very well. There is a small gym, but this is very limited. Breakfast was standard fare, but again the staff were really welcoming and very professional. This will now be our go to place to stay when visiting family in Chesterfield, highly recommended.

Stayed at the Casa Hotel for the first time last evening, after attending a family member's birthday celebration at the hotel.

All members of staff we encountered, right from the reception desk to the staff hosting the event, were really warm, friendly and helpful. The service felt really personal. The staff went above and beyond to make it a special evening for this celebration.

The hotel and its location in general are fantastic. The Casa is modern, unique and feels like it's in a major city (in a good way!). Free parking and electric vehicle charging available.

The hotel room on the third floor was great. Bed was big and really comfy. Fridge (with complimentary water and milk), drinking glasses, iron, Ethernet connection and TV all in the room. Bathroom was clean and modern - we requested a bathtub upon booking and we got one. The black out curtains are very effective and the air conditioning was appreciate in warm weather. A few paint flakes on the wooden finishes and the seal around the bathtub was peeling, but those were minor things and didn't have an effect on our experience. One suggestion would be to have a guide on connecting to the WiFi. I had no trouble but I have a feeling some may not realise it's available.

Overall a great experience. We'll definitely return in the future!

This has been one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff are incredible, helpful and a pleasure to talk to, not forgetting to mention how they go above and beyond. The food in the restaurant is delightful too. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel where I feel so welcome. It’s an absolute privilege to stay here. The rooms are very reasonably priced for the service you get and how clean your room will be too. I will definitely be staying again.

Hosted our daughters wedding here 31.10.22 . Can't fault anything at all. Fantastic staff very welcoming. Beautiful clean rooms. Friendly hotel just amazing thanks you for everything ❤️

Fantastic hotel the staff were excellent in particular a young lady called Maisey in the bar. Breakfast was fantastic and lots of choices. Rooms were great and the housekeeping was brilliant. Overall the best hotel we have stayed in in this country

A 4 star hotel giving a 5 star experience. My family and I stayed here for the wedding of my niece. The hotel was spotless, the food and service excellent and all staff willingly went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable for all the right reasons. A definite return is on the cards.

A beautifully appointed and decorated hotel. The bar and the restaurant are stylish, with first class food, drinks and levels of service. The staff are amazing. The girl in the bar (sorry; didn’t catch her name) was an amazing mixologist and Emily (in the restaurant) was helpful, professional and knowledgeable beyond her years! Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Is there a way to give this no stars?
It’s a great looking hotel but don’t be fooled. My brother and I booked two rooms as we had a family funeral to attend the next day, little did we know we’d get very little sleep.
There was a party on the ground floor, we had rooms on the third. Imagine our surprise when at 2am there was still the sound of doors slamming, women shouting and men screaming; to say it was like a student halls of residence gives students a bad rap!
We complained after a few hours sleep and promised by management that they would ‘see us right’ if we returned. Yet when I called to see if they could ‘put us right’, no reply email. No call. Nothing.
My advice. Stay away from the bright lights of Casa. There are better places to sleep in and around Chesterfield.
As for the guy who promised to ‘put us right’, shame on you.
