I have stayed here several times. Shops, restaurants, pub and launderette are a two minute walk away. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Excellent value. Rooms are always clean, I have stayed in almost every room available except probably two. You'll pay twice as much up the road at the Premier Inn.

The hotel looks lovely from the front. The dining room is really lovely with lots of painting and beautiful furniture. The lady who served breakfast was very pleasant and helpful. Basic breakfast. Cereal. Toast fruit juice boiled eggs.Tea and coffee.
However the rest of the hotel is dated and the room that we had was in need of decoration. The room too was very hot even with the heater off. The bed was very comfortable. But in all was ok for the cheap price just for one night in such a lovely area.

Place is cheap and that is pretty much it. Old rooms, not renovated bathrooms with mould in the shower. Had no hot water for few hours in the morning. Would recommend for a night or two, not for a longer stay. You can leave your baggage after the check out for free and pick it up later.

Basic hotel, the room we had needed to be refurbished, and a bit of tender care. Breakfast room very nice, reminded us of grander days gone by, nice outlook to garden with children's swings. Breakfast was adequate, but no hot food. Situated in a nice area with lovely houses, also quiet at night. Not too far from the underground. The owner was very helpful, the lady in the kitchen could do with some support. Otherwise a nice stay.

I spent one night in room 7 on the second floor on Oct 2nd 2019. Never again. The bathroom is covered in black mould, the carpet is incredibly dirty and there are odd (blood?) stains on the walls. Great area but I strongly recommend to avoid this hotel.

Room was dirty with thick layer of dust on all surfaces. Bed was uncomfortable and probably more comfortable sleeping on the floor. Curtain runner broken and curtain hanging from the runner. Bathroom was dirty with dust and debris above the mirror. Toilet not fastened to the floor and noisy water system. Shower was yellow with age and mould in the grout. Door didn’t fit. The shower was functional.
No room service and in room facilities were minimal.
Breakfast is a misnomer. Toast and boiled egg the only fresh items. Everything else is from a packet. Butter, jams, cheeses and cereals. Bitter coffee and sludge considering a cafetière. This is not continental by any description. It’s basic at best. Understaffed for breakfast.
Timings for breakfast remind me of Blackpool landlady. No common room
No disabled facilities. No lift. So, if you’re in a wheelchair, or missing a limb, don’t stay here.
If you want basic at 5 star prices, this is the place. It’s basic and in desperate need of a refurb in room 2 first floor.

I only gave it 1 star because there was no option for zero. Room was dirty, hadn’t been updated in decades. Shower was mouldy and falling apart and no extra room or ventilation. Healthy and Saftey alert! Breakfast was 15mins late starting and not worth having. No hot food (which was just as well as kitchen wouldn’t have passed any food safety test) no pastries, just cereal and cold toast. 5 of us in the room but only 2 spoons and 2 glasses. Absolutely appalling!!

Very pleasant place, Save environment easy access around Camden Town with lots of shops and good wine bars. Because of its location, traveling by bus and tube is very sufficient. Really a place to be in London Town with Freddy staff and a charming Landlord. Always happy to go back to the place.
