Beautiful place to get away from the busyness of the city. The hotel is part of a very small town and the staff can tell you all about it.

The room was nice and cozy. The restaurant was exquisite and the chefs are very nice. They also have a lovely boutique where you can get toiletries of the brand they use in the hotel and beautiful silk pieces.

I have stayed in many upscale establishments all over the world, but nothing is quite like Thyme. In the midst of nature, at the end of a narrow driveway you are greeted by a flock of black sheep feasting on the meadow. They’re chic these sheep, they set the tone. Everything here is picturesque with perfect balance between classic and modern. The bedrooms are beautiful, each one unique. The garden full of blooms of many colors and details that might require a second glance. It’s apparent with every step you take this place is shaped by nature.
We spent two nights and will definitely come back for a longer stay and spa treatments. You must book them in advance, the spa is popular.
Don’t forget to visit the gift shop for beautiful linen and Bertioli body products that smell divine.

Food at the restaurant is very good, but perhaps not quite as good and consistent as it should be for the price. One of our mains was hugely overseasoned compared to another identical main, and the homemade rum and raisin ice cream was very poor - watery and grainy. The quality of ingredients is good, but I think there was an issue with consistency and quality control in the kitchen when we visited. Service was much improved over our first visit however.

I have been to the Thyme Hotel three times now and its always been wonderful. I love how they are slowly expanding and becoming more proficient at what they are doing. At our last stay my mother was unwell and the staff were absolutely amazing in taking care and going the extra mile to make her stay more comfortable. I also have to point out the Spa, the staff is brilliant and offers the best soothing massages I have ever experienced. Also the design and attention to detail is great. The Thyme is the perfect combination of homely Cotswolds cottage, farmhouse style and english elegance. Keep up the wonderful work, we will definitely come back.

Very nice interior and nice renovated.
Sadly extremely overpriced for the service and what you get overall.
Waited 40 min for breakfast, ordered a room with two single beds but got a double bed instead and no refund at all.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and a lovely estate, every member of staff was next level professional and the grounds, rooms, communal areas etc were perfectly kept and very clean. Nice boutique and gorgeous restaurant... Wish I could of stayed there for a week! The whole estate is beautiful and I can't wait to go there again.

My husband and I along with my mother my sister and her husband have just stayed at Thyme. What a joy and delight! You can clearly see the effort and love that goes into making this wonderful hideaway, a perfect destination of joy. We had a variety of accommodation between us. My mother a garden room, which chic and elegant and was perfectly designed for someone such as my mother who uses mobility aids. My sister had a Courtyard room which again was beautifully designed and perfectly situated for the Ox Barn restaurant, which was stunning.
My hubby and I had Pear Tree cottage, which is located across the road from the main body of the hotel. Ideal for us as it was a dog friendly cottage. The attention to detail was wonderful. We were supplied two dogs bowls, a dog bed and a few more doggy bits and bobs. We had a perfect Thursday afternoon, with us and our dog, cuddled up in front of an open fire with a bottle of English sparkling Rose (which was delivered to the cottage).
The staff were so friendly and welcoming they truly were. From the outset of collecting our luggage from the car, up until checkout. The BaaBar was super, we could take our dog in with us. The food in the Ox Barn was delicious. I could write more but this is a must place to visit. Cannot wait to book again. Thank you to everyone at Thyme for making our stay so enjoyable xx
