Travelodge Cheltenham

Family room booked for 4.
4th bed we had to find under the double. Had to ask for sheet for this bed.
Extra towels was then brought up.
Not a great night's sleep, it is unbearably hot in the room. Only a small fan to help which just moved hot air around.
Slept with the curtains open just for air.
Had to go to the stairwell for fresh air a couple of times through the night.
Staff were polite and friendly

Stayed here for a couple of nights. When we arrived the night reception staff were quite unfriendly, they didn't greet us but looked at us blankly like we weren't supposed to be there. Mattresses seemed hard with very soft pillows so were quite uncomfortable. The room was also very hot and we couldn't control the temperature so this made for an uncomfortable night. Location was good though- the Harvester downstairs was very convenient and had a great breakfast choice. The hotel is also easily accessible from the M5. Also bear in mind if you book a room parking is then an extra £7 on top for 24 hours.

I only stayed for 1 night, however the room was clean and well presented, and comfortable the staff were friendly and helpful when I turned up after 22:40 on Wednesday evening, my only minor issue is I would have liked a few more teabags as I dont drink coffee.
On checking out the staff member on duty was again friendly and very efficient.

Standard of cleanliness was horrid! Toe nail clippings by the bed. Hair all over the bathroom. Did not make for a very comfortable stay. Stayed there for work arrangements with breakfast included but breakfast time too late for the majority of business clients I would assume. Staff however were really friendly and the reception staff sorted my concerns out. Location rather far from the main area.

Excellent service once seated (which took a little while - but it is Cheltenham Races so understandable). Food was good, but the salad bar had certainly taken a hit so not much left. Nothing too much trouble for the hardworking serving staff. Thank you for a very pleasant evening

The room contained 2 extra pop-up beds that weren't asked for. We could barely move in the room. No plug sockets next to the beds.

However, actual bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's just basic.

Always great value for money and more importantly dog friendly. Very friendly helpful staff, disabled room was large and well equipped, surprisingly quiet and takeaway breakfast good value for money.
Also Harvester next door so no travelling to eat. Great location just 5 mins off M5

Very convenient location walking distance from Cheltenham Spa Station. Comfortable and clean room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Enjoyed TGI Fridays next door for evening meal. Thank you.
