Spinning Block Hotel at Holmes Mill

All lovely friendly staff who are knowledgeable a out the surrou ding area. Nice clean newly refurbished rooms with shower room having soap, shower gel, shower cap, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer and coffee tea and sugar. Plenty of electrical points. Immediate area has hotel, bars, restaurants, ice cream parlour, wedding venue, lots of outside seating (all looks accessible) and cinema. Pleasant uphill walk to local shops and bars. The Brown Cow just up the hill is a must for Kareoke fans and is a lovely friendly little pub. All in all a cracking weekend break.

Stayed at the hotel for a wedding. Fabulous conversion of an old textile mill. Room very smart & bed comfortable. Room very hot the first night, only a small fanlight to open. Shower could have done with a bar to hold onto for those of us not in our first flush of youth. Breakfast good & reasonably priced as was the bar & grill next door. Last orders quite early though both there & the Brewery hall.

Absolutely love this beautiful venue, this is NOT a negative review just a tip for future visiting guests, if it is hot and you have a spare room fan and space in your car just pop it in, in case all the fans are in use that the hotel provide. We did and it helped massively as it was a very hot & humid evening last night otherwise our sleep wouldn’t of been great as the room was very warm. :-)

This Hotel is beautiful ! The Dinning room is absolutely stunning as well as our Room. Nice big arc and modern bathroom. When we came down for breakfast on our first morning we were stunned at how amazing the Dining hall was. The actual food also matched up. I had a full English which was faultless. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Clitheroe.

Me and my partner stayed here for 1 night. Straight away the staff were friendly the minute we got there and made sure we had all the info we needed promptly on arrival. Room was very clean and surprisingly roomy for the price paid. The bathroom has a huge shower as well which was also an added bonus.

Our nights sleep was amazing and the bedding was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning at the bistro/bar was lovely and comes with a complimentary continental spread.

All in all, a great stay for the night which made our visit to Clitheroe even better 🙂

Fantastic overnight stay at the hotel on a beercation deal. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and high standard decor etc. Hotel is close to the Bowĺand brewery pub where dozens of real ales can be found. Excellent visit and we definitely intend to revisit in the near future.

We went there for a meal
The lady who took the order, served us and presented the bill was great.
The food was hot, tasty and filling
Sadly they ran out of the beer i was drinking which was a surprise as they brew it 😕
The bar manager did try to sort out the problem but i thought the pint he gave me wasn't right.
Did advertise live music but nothing on which was a pitty

I stayed at this hotel a few weeks back and it was beautiful. Sylvia was extremely helpful, friendly and personally greeted me outside to help me find a car parking space! Thank you Sylvia you made me feel so welcomed - I will definitely return to this hotel
