Stayed for two nights for a business trip. The hotel is perfectly fine and the staff lovely. The room was new with a very comfortable bed. I did not try the restaurant on site as went to the high street. Parking is easy at the recommended car park (only £8 for two nights). The train station is about 5 minutes away and Watford high street literally on the door step. Windows are noise proof so no noise from the street. Perfect for a short stay whether for business or pleasure.

The service was fab, everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, at the front of house and in the restaurant! We only stayed one night with breakfast which was lovely!! The rooms were clean and comfortable it was perfect for what we needed!! The train station is a short walk away! The parking is a little tricky to find but affordable once you do find it and not far away from the hotel! Would recommend and would definitely stay again!!

The room was spacious and clean.
There was a great variety in breakfast choices and everything was really tasty.
Staff is very polite.

Just a note if your room is close to the elevators you won't be able to sleep. Staff was really helpful to move us to a different room though.

Pros: VFM. Very friendly staff, good quality of toiletries/hairdryer/iron, tasty complimentary coffee, tea and snacks, close to the Watford junction. Spacious bed with a quite good mattress and both soft and harder pillows to choose from. The breakfast buffet was amazing with all you might crave. Everything was delicious and they even have gluten free selections. Try the English breakfast and don't just stick to the usual corn flakes.
Silent mini fridge!
Spacious bathroom.
Correct use of space in the executive rooms, with good hanging/storage/sitting options.

Need improvement: If your room is close to the elevator prepare to listen to it all night long!!!!!
There wasn't a hand-held shower head, only a mounted one without a sliding bar.
Wish they provided sleepers.

The room was just what we needed. Basic facilities, clean and fresh and comfy bed. Absolutely thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! The staff were also really lovely. Asked about our stay, gave directions to local places and generally really helpful

The hotel generally, the room, and the food were all presented to a very high standard, and the staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the stay. The only thing that let the hotel down was the quality of the bathrooms. We had an executive room, and the bathroom was very small and dated, the bathtub was dirty, and the sink was blocked which made things difficult. As this was outside of maintenance hours they gave us breakfast the next day on the house and offered to move us to another room which was nice. Overall very nice and would recommend, the bathrooms just need renovating and cleaning to match the 4 star standard of the rest of the hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying here for New Year's Eve and News Year Day.
The service was fantastic from arrival to departure. Immaculate hotel, rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable.
The service in the bar and restaurant was superb too, the bar/restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. They adapted changes to the food choices without any hesitation to ensure our 3 children were satisfied. The cleaning staff left our rooms gleaming and there was literally nothing to fault. The manageress of the cleaning staff, who was also first aid trained was absolutely superb at supporting us on new years day as our youngest had quite a dramatic nose bleed, she was so calm and experienced, that her presence and guidance helped immediately, literally can't thank her enough for her help . And Nothing was a bother, and it helped us feel at total ease, especially with 3excitable children who were desperate to visit Harry Potter's Studio on New Year's Day. The shuttle bus was also just a 5minute walk from the hotel, which was another bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel, for quality service, location smd fantastic customer service from all of the staff and would have no hesitation to visit again or another of the Leonardo Hotels.

The hotel is very nice. The bedroom was very comfortable and well equipped. However we stayed there in temperatures of -5° in an emergency when our boiler leaked through our bedroom ceiling. I arrived after a long journey home from work getting to the hotel at 9.45pm. I asked for a menu but was told that the kitchen was closed and they could offer no room service due to short staffing. So I had to go out again in the freezing temperatures to get something to eat. When I returned back I saw that there was actually a fridge full of sandwiches with a shutter pulled down. I think it would have been good customer service to at least offer the sandwiches as an option when you advertise 24h room service.
