The hotel was in a good location, the coded entry system worked excellently and the room was spacious enough for the weekend stay. The bathroom facilities were great, even if the fact they were only separated from the room by frosted glass. This arrangement was a little strange at first but we quickly got used to it, and it didn't detract at all from an enjoyable stay. The only issue was the coffee machine, which only came supplied with enough pods for one tea each and the fact the breakfast snack tray was not replenished for the second night we stayed. Otherwise very happy with our visit.

Perfect for what I needed, which was a short overnight. Room was quite small and very cleverly designed. Very convenient to the train station, a quick walk out to breakfast and the Botanical Garden in the morning. Quiet and clean. Late check-in was effortless. There had been an issue with my charge card (on my part) and the establishment was very helpful clearing it up.

We had a 3 day visit to meet our son after 6 months. Our room was a very pleasant surprise. Well decorated and very comfortable. Our only negative was the tea/coffee machine. I am not the brightest northerner and struggled to work it out (perhaps a small travel kettle and tea bags for the slower customers ) and a couple of glasses to but overall we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel thanks x

I booked a room here very last minute. The owner provided detailed instructions to access the property by key code and I had no issues. The room was lovely and came with soap/shampoo and tea/coffee/water. The location is perfect, especially if you are arriving by train, as it is maybe 3 minutes away from the station. It is also an easy walk to the city center or to a quieter street of shops and restaurants. Everything was clean and the bed was comfy. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Claire was very helpful and friendly from the outset, replying to messages quickly and helping with parking advice (which was super easy and free!). The room was fantastic, clean, large and a great location. Will visit again for sure!

Modern, clean, quiet and very comfortable! Claire (owner) and staff are friendly and helpful! We had a three night city break and found it an ideal base, close to the station but far enough not to be bothered by any noise. Mill Road with lots of independent restaurants is a short walk away.
