Reception only seems to be open when no one would actually want to use it, so had to rush to arrive before reception closed.
Absolutely obsessed with the idea that you might want to have a party in their shabby rooms so insisted on checking everyone's ID, threatening reminders about not having a party everywhere.
They even did a "test" fire alarm so that my daughter had to parade in her pyjamas in front of the gentlemen drinking at the bar.
The whole experience was deeply uncomfortable.

Stayed there a few times while daughter was at Keele. This time for her graduation. They upgraded us to a brand new family room which was marvellous. Highly recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Staff were very friendly, and the apartment had all the basics you might need. There were even some pans to use. The rooms were a clean and comfortable. The only complaint I had was the stairs. I'm disabled, and the stairs are very small and very steep. There's also no lift. It's not a deal breaker, but I know to ask for a downstairs room next time.

Ideal place to say we got a 2 bed apartment at short notice due to another place cancelling on us on the day of travel but these guys were fantastic welcoming rooms were clean kitchen was ideal if we were staying longer but lots of places close by to eat

Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable with ample space, large tv, all your kitchen needs. Sandra and her staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and helpful. We had 5 rooms in total and everyone was delighted. Thanks Sandra for looking after us all 🤗

For the money, and if you're not bothered by traffic noise or sleep with the windows shut, this place is absolutely brilliant. Much upgraded since I stayed 4 years ago when it was only good.

Really lovely rooms and great value!
The bed was soo comfy, I slept so well! Plenty of space in my room and kitchen area (I went for the king-size). Bathroom was clean and warm but missing a towel rail for hand towel (which has been fed back).
Staff are so friendly and helpful. My room was above the car end of the pub but I couldn't hear anything (Saturday night).
Separate entrance to reception for my room, but electronic key card is needed several times to get through to the rooms so very secure.
I've already booked my next stay. If you're looking for good value and good location I very much recommend!
