The hotel looked great and the room we had was fantastic. It had a great view over the land at the back all the way to Central London. The food was really good too and the staff were lovely. I’d definitely visit again.

Stayed here in July for the second time. Both visits we have been upgraded this time to the Mayfair suite. We were treated amazingly by the staff. Room was glorious and very comfortable. Really appreciated the care from the lady at reception. Nothing was too much for her! Thank you for a gorgeous stay!

Had a lovely extended lunch at The Manor, lovely staff and good food. It was such a lovely day we stayed there for a few more hours had some more lovely wine , the staff were lovely. Top tip if you want to book for lunch and can’t get though - boom for afternoon tea and ask if you can switch to the lunch menu 👍🏻. The tea is served in the same room as the restaurant!

My wife and I have stayed at this 🏨 hotel on three separate occasions, each time all the areas we required were excellent.
We will without question use this hotel it meets our needs and the Staff could not be more helpful.
Keep up the excellent levels of Service and the Total Needs of your Guests/ Visitors.
Thank you. B PICKERING 😁

Booked superior rooms, sadly when we arrived we discovered a very tired hotel. We were placed on the ground floor of the newer part (it’s actually around 30 years old and hasn’t been looked after).

First we find the room and the whole floor cold, our room looks out onto a bin store. It’s totally out of date and the pink bathroom is straight out of the 1990’s.

We got to reception and ask for the fire door that is propped open to be closed and the hall carpet that is up exposing drains to be replaced.

We go back to the room after maybe 30 mins to find the reason the fire door is propped open, a foul drains smell…

Go back to complain and find the staff are rude, the manager thinks the whole situation is a little funny…

We leave and have to find somewhere else, are promised a refund, don’t worry they say, we will deal with it…

Well thanks, as if it’s not bad enough leaving you out there to find somewhere else, I have to message repeatedly to get a refund.

Horrible hotel that needs major renovation, avoid at all costs. It’s a shambles.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Manor with some friends. The staff are so welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. A very friendly and relaxing atmosphere and good value for money. We will be back!

We only visited for lunch so can't comment on the hotel rooms. The restaurant was cold and seats by the original single glazed windows were freezing. Afternoon tea seems to be the big thing as the main meal menu was average but not great. Staff were pleasant not not particularly helpful or well informed. We would have been happy to stay and eaten in the evening too, but just got presented with the same menu, with no opportunity for variation. Car parking is generous, but there were no accessible facilities with toilets being downstairs in the basement.

We held our wedding here in Nov 21. The hotel is a little outdated and could do with some updating. For example, the curtains in one of the rooms had holes in them and there were many issues with bedrooms that had to be sorted on the morning on the wedding. We paid a lot of money to host our wedding there but the service we received was not 5*. Our wedding coordinator left during the planning and didn't hand anything over, so we had to reconfirm everything about 3 weeks before the wedding, they served different canapés to the ones we had selected and the food was nice, but not great. (It had been great when we did our menu tasting, so there may have been a change of chef.) I felt the suites were over priced. They didn't have a lot of the things that I would expect from a high end suite - such as a small fridge or nice toiletries.
