Judd's Folly Hotel

Judd's Folly could be amazing but sadly it is in dire need of an upgrade. The wallpaper is old fashioned and starting to peel away. The suite we stayed in was large and spacious and the bed was comfortable and huge. Unfortunately the standard of cleaning was terrible. Dirty mirrors that hadn't been cleaned in a good while, bare footprints of previous guests on the bathroom floor. Not great.
The staff in the hotel reception and bar/ restaurant were really friendly and helpful. A good menu on offer as well. The grounds around the hotel were absolutely beautiful.

Fab handmade afternoon tea enjoyed here. Definitely going to go back. The staff were so friendly and understood the importance of customer service by providing welcoming, attentive service. Food tasted great. Lots of knowledge and ranges of teas which was a lovely touch. Thank you for making my mums birthday so special.

Visited for a wedding, location fantastic! All efforts put into a beautiful wedding but the food side of things lets it down.
Had a meal the night before at the hotel, unfortunately wasn't greatly impressed. On the day of the wedding best part was the cheese cake pudding, other meals were well presented but not much flavour to any of them.

Quiet location a couple of miles from Faversham. I have stayed here twice, each time for just one night (it would have been two nights recently but the hotel was fully booked) and I haven't had breakfast. The rooms are a decent size - the bathrooms spacious - and clean. Staff have been pleasant and helpful.

Very lovely chalets,and very clean rooms. The best part was that the room had a fridge which worked perfectly for me. I didn't like how after having stayed there for 5days we need an extra hr or two on our last day and we were charged but asides that every other thing was perfect and enjoyable. Will visit again.

Attended a beautiful wedding here. Venue staff were really nice and helpful. The wedding planner was very attentive. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, although there was no shampoo but there was conditioner and body wash. There was a fridge in the room and hot drink station. The walls were a little thin but none of our neighbours were noisy. There was a great breakfast spread and dinner was delicious especially the smoked duck.

We recently had our wedding here and could not wish for a more professional and attentive Team. Carlie took care of everything and was fantastic, going above and beyond. The food and drink selection were perfect and the room looked amazing. We are so happy with our choice and would recommend.

Stayed here on business for two nights. Accommodation is slightly eclectic; some rooms in the main building, outside chalets, and cottages around the side and back. I stayed in the latter and the room was large, comfortable, with a recently modernised bathroom.

The only issue with the room was the gravel path to get there, as it was muddy with lots of puddles. You can park outside the cottages but you still need to walk to the main building for breakfast and the bar / dining room. It really does need resurfacing.

The hotel, due to it’s great location and reasonable midweek prices, also attracts a lot of trades people. Absolutely nothing wrong with that but I seriously think that (dirty?) work overalls/boots shouldn’t be allowed in breakfast areas etc.

Food was of a good quality, and staff were really helpful and friendly. For me this bumps it up from a 3-star to a 4-star review.
