Really lovely hotel. Room 4 is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and very private. The staff were brilliant, so attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great! Loved that they had grapefruit and berries available, plus all the usual cereals, toast and full English! Had such a lovely stay, would highly recommend.

Good clean hotel. Great bar and excellent hard working staff. Good breakfast, cereal to a full English. Had a top floor room with sea view and a comfortable bed. Kettle with tea, coffee and biscuits. Short walk to the beach front. Would recommend and stay again.

We had our annual family Christmas party last night at the Anglesey and had a wonderful time. The three course meal was delicious and the service impeccable. With the table decorations and party hats the atmosphere was very festive. Thank you very much.

Room noisy as people were smoking outside underneath our room will little thought to the noise they were making. Check in staff very pleasant. Evening meal in bar area (very nice). Breakfast in breakfast room also nice. Parking poor. Luck of the draw to get a space nearby.

Room was very noisy. We had the room over entrance. People have cigarettes there. Was still outside at 2.30 am. Talking real loud and singing at the top of their voices. Building was beautiful on the outside. I would never stay there again. Too expensive for somewhere to stay and not sleep

Best Sunday lunch in Gosport. Beef cooked to perfection and plenty of vegetables. Staff are helpful and friendly and serve good beer.

Not much interaction from the staff, including the answer “…it’s upstairs” when asked where the room was on arrival - overall though, nice and comfy with good food
