Lovely old building facing a small park, just a 5 minute walk to town. Room was very spacious and a fan was provided - very welcome during the heat wave! Friendly helpful staff and good restaurant. Only drawback was the number of steps - no lift, we were on the top floor and the restaurant is in the basement with the bar. (very pleasant, open to front patio of hotel).

Room was very small! Beautifully furnished, but nowhere to put all the cushions on the bed! Very little hanging space & nowhere to put case - ended up putting it against the door which was probably a fire hazard!! Also stairs with lovely thick carpets - but irregular steps had been carpeted over which made it a bit hazardous! Breakfast OK- had to ask for cups, cutlery etc! However to be fair staff were very pleasant and the hotel is well decorated - maybe not good for anyone with mobility issues though.

The hotel was nice and clean with friendly staff, however my double bedroom was rather cosy, if I hadn't been staying on my own it would have been a tight squeeze. The shower was very small, and the drainage didn't seem adequate. A nice selection for breakfast with everything you'd expect. I only stayed 1 night and it was sufficient for my needs.

It was very clean and well decorated room and bathroom. The room was hot which was my only issue but that can't be helped too much with a heat wave. I would definitely recommend. The swimming pool is a 2min walk away which had a steam room and sauna. I look forward to coming back again soon.

On booking we asked for a ground floor room as stairs are a problem. Room 2 suited our needs, sadly we were not told about the many stairs to the basement where the restaurant/bar is. Room was clean & nicely decorated. Restaurant evening meal was not good, sadly we refused to pay for it. Staff are really friendly & welcoming but sadly inexperienced, all very young & obviously still learing the job. Car park a nightmare, hard to get out of once its full, had to wait for people to check out & move before we could get out, totally blocked in. Sorry to say, we wont return.

Very comfortable weekend stay here. Close to town with plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was excellent and the service friendly. Rooms clean and tastefully decorated. Parking is a little limited but everything else was very good.

Lovely small boutique hotel. Very comfortable and staff were lovely. The breakfast was very good. Only dropped a star for a slightly open shower which could not help soak the floor. I would definately return.

Our room was comfy, clean and quiet.
A comfy nights sleep, a great shower and a really good breakfast. Only a couple of minutes walk to the town. We'll definitely be staying again.
