Quite basic Hotel, for my belonging at this time it was fully OK.
Room size perfect. Internet and a table to sit on to do the office work. TV, water kettle in the room. Nice to have a sofa in the room.
The bed does have a quite soft mattress which I did not like too much. Bathroom OK.
All in all it was worth the prize and I would book in again.

The hotel is good if you are working in the area. It doesn't have any frills - the room is reasonably sized but of poor repair (broken edges on tables, main light temperamental etc). Bed was soft but comfortable, and shower reasonable. No air con and my room opened out onto the road so had traffic noise to contend with if I wanted fresh air. Functional.

Our room at the Sunrise hotel was clean and spacious but it was one of the hottest days of the year so far and there was no fan in the room, so it was quite unbearable. The windows only opened 3 inches presumably for security. I didn't expect air con in a budget hotel but a fan was a necessity. We arrived after 10pm as had been at a family wedding but reception was shut with just a phone number. We had checked in earlier so at least had our room key, but having no fan made our stay quite unpleasant. Location good but quite a lot of traffic noise from the A46 all night if you had the windows open. Again a fan would have solved this. On the whole good value as we paid £47 for the night, just unbearably hot.

Surprisingly good. I only picked it because it was the closest to where I needed to be the next morning, but was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean, showers worked well and amazingly the Indian restaurant next door was still open and happy the serve is when we arrived at 10 to midnight. The food was very good as well.

The rooms have been neglected, the bed linen was un ironed and it appeared to have shrunk so it wasn’t a good fit - this is how I discovered the mattress was badly stained.

There was also no hot water for the two days I stayed here.

If they invested a little more this could be a reasonable hotel.

The staffs are quite pleasing however the rooms / bathrooms should be adequately cleaned / maintained. The flushing system in my toilet requires a special technique to stop regular flow of water in the cistern. Another room offered as a replacement has moulds in the toilet and some parts of the walls are damaged.

Staff were helpful. Room was clean, but had been set up for one person, rather than two with one mug, one set of towels and one set of shower gels. I was given an extra mug when I asked, but didn't nice the other shortfalls until it was too late.

Friendly staff, perfect location for what we needed and cheap enough but the quality of the room was poor. One curtain covering only half of the window, grout in the bathroom was black, second bed in the room was really a couch, main bed was like marshmallow, no remote for the tv and the mugs were dirty. It did what we needed and being at the back it was quiet but I wouldn't stay there again.
