Really lovely little hotel, done up to a great standard, charging a very reasonable night rate including breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfy, and a great bathroom with a full bath - perfect for bathtime! The hotel has some lovely grounds and backs onto Southcrest Woods if you fancy a walk. Restaurant food was hot and tasty (I went for the battered cod) and staff service was faultless. My only nitpick is there are no cycle storage facilities - not an issue for me as staff were kind enough to store my folding bike behind reception, but you may struggle if you arrive on a full size bike, so not super friendly for those without access to a car. Overall though it was a great stay and I will happily stay again if visiting the local area in the future.

Lovely hotel! It was absolutely gorgeous and had nice views of the gardens and surrounding nature. Room was clean, shower was modern and had good water pressure. I managed to forget a valuable and called them up and they found it and kindly sent it to the post office to be sent to me on the same day. Great customer service! Would recommend.

The room we had was very dirty. The was a number of cobwebs and spiders which indicate that the room hadn’t been cleaned for a while. Asked for a member of staff to come and check our room and get rid of said cobwebs and at the time we only noticed 1 spider however later on we did find a further 2. The manager that came up said that “the cleaning staff must have wanted an early finish on a Saturday” other than that there was no apology. We then we’re rushed down to dinner “not to miss your reservation as the restaurant is busy” we went down and it was not busy at all. Plenty of tables. We were told while we were at dinner it would be sorted however when we went back only one cobweb was gone. The dinner however was lovely and restaurant staff. Especially “Latisha” I think from her name badge we’re very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the meal however we’re very confused and mislead by the dinner allocation. We booked a 3 course meal however we’re told there is a £25 pp allocation and anything else is chargeable which is why we paid a £20 deposit on checkin. The menu prices made it impossible to have 3 courses at £25 therefore we only had 2 courses and a side each. I feel it would be of better advertising if this was explained during booking. We also were disappointed as were told on booking that we would have “best available room” we hope this isn’t the case as we’re very disappointed by the room due to cleanliness and the view being of the bin shed. Overall we don’t feel this hotel was value for money and we’re reasonably disappointed therefore unfortunately we wouldn’t return.

Rooms are clean and spacious could do with a light by the wardrobe. Breakfast was divine great selection crispy hash browns, good quality produce.
Did request a lower floor when booking but got upstairs and furthest room away.

Attended for my mother in laws wedding. Staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was to much of a bother - room was absolutely lovely. Plenty of space. Good selection at breakfast! The gentleman who handled the wedding was outstanding! Helped in every possible way. Always checking if we was okay and if anything was needed! Definitely recommend to anyone who was thinking of booking😊

The staff were all brilliant. We stayed at the hotel to attend a family party. Ryan was really helpful with the food, and even with teaching the macarana! The receptionist was patient with loud drunk guests losing handbags and the bar staff were friendly, efficient and fun. Thank you for a lovely evening

Just had afternoon tea at the hotel. A treat from our daughter .it was absolutely delicious. Good choice of sandwiches light and fluffy scones and a lovely selection of cakes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is in beautiful surroundings. Would.highly recommend.

Nicely decorated hotel and rooms. The staff were pleasant on arrival.

The beds were not very comfortable and the shower pressure was poor.

However, the room rate was good value compared to the others in area. I’d be happy to stay here
again.
