We stopped en route to cornwall with three kids and really enjoyed staying here. Staff was very friendly, food was good (dinner and breakfast) and the restaurant especially had a lot of character. I saw the other review complaining about the bathroom, but we booked 2 rooms, and I thought both were fine. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well presented, with lots of space. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and fresh. The only small criticism is I think the toilet seat could be of better quality as it did not match the quality of the rest of the bathroom and bedroom features. The breakfasts were fabulous and extremely good value for money. The room was also well priced.

The hotel was charming and rustic. The rooms were perfectly comfortable and had everything we needed. Our only criticism was the bar food menu which was very confusing and the quality of the 1st dinner meal was not good. We are guessing that the bar staff cooked the meal as the food for the remainder of the trip was perfectly fine and especially the breakfast which was lovely and plentiful.

Room was spacious and clean and tidy. Bathroom was a little untidy and needed redecorating. Bath panel was taped up, vinyl flooring a little unkempt.

A very warm welcome from Erin who sorted out my overnight room. Nothing was to much trouble. Very reasonable price of drinks and food Would recommend this establishment

Location suited us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plumbing was v noisy. We were misled about pub closing times. Didn't separate double bed although that was offer made by staff on check-in. Paid for breakfast was good. Included breakfast confusing. Do one or other properly.

Rooms need an update especially the bathrooms #prisoncellvibes but good shower pressure🙌🏻.. rooms could be fitted with dimmer switches as the lighting is a little intense. Breakfast was a typical small local cafe vibe but lovely attentive and friendly report with the manger / server at breakfast

Lovely location staff very friendly , we stayed in a room for the night was very nice stop over . Nice size room clean and tidy . Food is good also here
