Great city centre location. There isn't free parking, but the car park behind is on an app making it really easy to manage. Room was lovely and cool on such hot days. the restaurant was really slow, considering my 2 young children and myself were booked in for as soon as they were open at 6pm, we waited almost an hour for food. But the dining staff were really kind. We will definitely be back for sure.

One of the best if not the best Premier Inn I've stopped at, and not because of the room, or food etc, as a very frequent user of Premier Inn the rooms and food are pretty much the same regardless. You can obviously pay for the more premium room, but other than that it's pretty standard. However, what you get at this Premier Inn that I've not had to this standard at least is the service, bearing in mind its obvious at how short staffed they are they are brilliant! From the warm welcome through to breakfast the following morning, nothing and I mean nothing was too much hassle! Super service, and if all customer focused people were like the team here then the world would certainly be a much better place! Hats of to them! 🌟 😁

Stayed here as my nephew had his graduation. One of the best Premier inns we have stayed in. Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. We got back late and they catered for 6 of us at short notice in the restaurant shortly before it closed. I think the hotel was full but this certainly didn't affect the great service

Highly recommended!! Room was great, view wasn't bad at all, everything was clean, shower was powerful, breakfast was tasty and extensive, and best of all, the service was top notch. Everyone we came across was happy and helpful. I feel we need to give extra thanks to Chris, the duty manager the night of our stay. He was amazing! He helped us resolve an issue we'd had paying online with patience and a smile as we checked in, he served us at the bar and was chatty and a pleasure to talk to, he was around as we ate breakfast and asked us how we were, all this giving our stay a really personal feel. He is an absolute credit to his employer and is definitely earning his pay!!

This is a 5 because the staff are exceptional. Friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Really an asset.
A short 5-7 min walk from the station. In a good location for the city centre but not in it. There is a dual carriageway but the room i had was on the other side.
I stayed here 10 years ago and thought it might be tired now. But its fine.
Rooms clean. Breakfast as expected. Lifts work. Exactly what you expect from a premier inn.
Great staff.

Pleasant welcome..receptionist made an effort to get information on public car park. Rooms were fine, usual Premier Inn standard and layout. Plenty of additional tea and coffee available in reception area. Great location for the cathedral castle and old town.

I love premier inns and often look to stay in them when away. This room however was the worst I've had. Bed was awful. Not sure what went wrong with it. Didn't seem that clean and bedsheets were stained. Shower was average. Also they usually come with decent tvs but this place lost the memo. Staff were nice. Breakfast was good.

Such a shame our last visit was awful. Located on floor 4 and it stunk of drains, had to use plugs in bath and sink and spray aftershave to mask it enough to sleep. Whole hotel was apparently full so couldn't be moved, key cards not working and more breakfast staff needed. Tables around us remain uncleared the whole time we were seated. Have reported to customer service and got £30 refund on a £68 night. Would rather have had feedback to say issues resolved as the location is brilliant and I really don't like their competitor but may have to try it in February as CS haven't replied.
