Clean room, welcoming and friendly staff, plenty of parking spaces and quiet location. If you are after night life at walking distance this may not be the hotel for you but to visit your friends/family or stopping for a night before entering London or towns between Herts & Essex counties this is a ideal hotel.

Lovely room. Generous space, well appointed bathroom and lounge. The only disappointment was no fresh fruit at breakfast, otherwise a wonderful stay.

Staff were amazing food was good as usual. If you have a disability don't take a scooter you would never get it in the hotel lift. The pavements outside the hotel aren't great for wheelchair users. The grounds around the hotel are fine though. Very close to the train station, infact you can see the trains from the carpark!!!

The hotel is definitely not 3 stars. I would give 4+. Great hotel. There was a better place for us.

Clean. Modern. Well presented. BIG onsite car park. Easy walk to town. And beefeater restaurant alongside (5 star food rating currently). Easy find on satnav. Friendly staff. On brand.

Absolutely wonderful weekend, at the premier Inn, our meal in the beefeater was very enjoyable, bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the weekend immensely. Well done Premier Inn

The room was lovely had a family room very clean very modern very spacious loved being able to make a decent cuppa on waking. Good hot shower. Had an evening meal which is the reason ive only given 4 starts the chicken was dry and chewy and the home made coleslaw was some very earty lettuce and half a soggy tomato. The breakfast was however very good value and very tasty went down at 9 obviously the busiest time so had to wait in ques but all in all cant fault it evening and morning staff were lovely and helpful definitely stay again.

Myself and a few other people were stranded due to the heavy snowfall on December 11th 2022. I ended up finding this premier inn & beefeater. The amazing lady in charge was soo kind and helpful I honestly really appreciate her helping me and all the other people stuck.
