Marsham Court Hotel

Beautiful hotel that's very close to the beach. All the staff, mainly the pool guy and the manager were a laugh even with the brief interactions, im glad they tolerated me and my friend! The main clients for this place are elderly couples who were very welcoming in having a conversation or two with this city boy, and you cant go wrong with an all night bar service either! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone going to Bournemouth.

Great hotel. The rooms are quite lovely, renovated and quiet. Staff is very friendly, especially pleased with the bar staff at The Retreat, just by reception. Alcohol prices are on the cheaper side compared to other places in Bournemouth. Location wise it is a few minutes walk from the beach, close to everything- restaurants, ice cream shops, little gardens etc. The hotel itself is very bright, light themed, tidy it gives of a good atmosphere. Quite happy with everything.
PS: At reception you can get information and a map on different attractions in Bournemouth. Quite helpful.

It’s a good hotel, specially if you have a dog. They gave me a dog kit with a bed, toys and a bowl, which was super helpful. It’s in a good location and the room is good. I’m not given 5 stars because I asked for an extra fan and the receptionist was super rude saying that it was only one per room. The fan was really small and loud, so for two people is not enough.

I have just returned from this wonderful hotel. I have to use a wheelchair and this hotel was perfect! My accessible bedroom had a profiling bed, hoist track (I don’t need a hoist), wet room and they supplied me with a shower wheelchair. They also had a changing places facility, a sensory room and a hoist for the swimming pool! The staff were wonderful and went the extra mile! The food was excellent. I thoroughly recommend it.

I actually love this place. 5 minutes to the main pier and beach, outdoor pool., lovely breakfast. Not new built, but clean and tidy. Undergoing constant refurb to bring the room decor up to date. Lovely dining room and the service is good.
It is used by a lot of the older generation, which I don't have a problem with, but some might. They are well catered for with events, like tea dances and weekly live music.
Bar/lounge area is lovely, great and welcoming. And.... They have their own good sized car park
It's a hotel with character.
I've been using this hotel multiple times a year for over 5 years.

We stayed for one night after changing our plans to stay elsewhere having read the reviews and it was excellent. Clean rooms, newly decorated and attentive service from booking direct to the end. Lovely to find this little independent gem and will definitely return in the summer to use the pools outside.

I like the hotel and the family sized rooms are just about perfect, sofabed for the kids and King for the grownups. Short walk down to the beach. Swimming pool is a decent size although it can be a bit cold. Main complaint if I have one is the selection of food for lunch. Why no beef burgers? Otherwise we love it.

We didn't stay at the hotel. But booked a Christmas Buffet Meal for 4 adults and a child, as we had had a wonderful Christmas Meal there in 2019 and an even better Wedding there in 2019. Unfortunately, due to catching Covid 19 we had to cancel at short notice. The food had been purchased, so no refund was forthcoming. We managed to find two Ukrainian families and the hotel was more than obilging in changing booking for us. Thank you Rosie and your staff for being so helpful and flexible and giving two families a wonderful day.
