Chesford Grange Hotel

Absolutely great, super friendly and efficient service. So clean and comfortable. Bar staff polite and professional. The dinner was delightful and delicious. The greeting at breakfast so welcoming and the breakfast 1st class. Pancakes are a must. Really recommend this fantastic hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms very nice size and will equipped. 2 young lads serving in the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Very polite and very friendly. Restaurant manager also great. Asking us and making sure that we had everything. Felt very well looked after.

A wonderful stay from the beginning. The hotel has recently been upgraded so the rooms, decor and furnishings were beautiful and tastefully done. The breakfast was very good catering for vegetarian and gluten free guests. Staff all friendly and welcoming. Set in beautiful surroundings with nature trails

The helpful and friendly staff made this hotel one that I’d love to return to! From smooth check in processes to catering to our requests. We were a massive group hundreds and it was managed well. My room was a bit gloomy, but my bed was comfy and I slept very well. I saw my friends refurbished room and it was bright, airy and modern. If I return I’ll request one of those rooms or pay extra. The facilities overall were good. Spa was quiet and nice but needs an overhaul too. The steam room was quite small luckily we went during a heatwave so was only a couple of us in there lol. I saw a jacuzzi and the pool was a decent size too. There weren’t many Sun loungers so it’s good that only a few of us was in there. On the plus side the hotel isn’t too far out. Short drive from some supermarkets so you can get some snacks and stuff! We got a taxi to the supermarket he was so helpful he said if we were stranded on the way home, then although he takes Sundays off he’d return if we call him. I may return back next year, I’m thinking about it. But I will definitely upgrade my room if I do!

Noticed standards in hygiene & maintenance has dropped specifically in the rooms. The first room was not acceptable, we were moved to another room, better than the first, but still not up to your usual standard.
Never let standards drop because it is very hard to get back on top of things.

We had our wedding at the hotel with the Roast and Toast package and stayed a few days extra. The service was excellent. The staff where very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast excellent choose available. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Friends and Family stayed and all had a wonderful time. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Looks like most higher end hotel/conference centre/gym/Spa places.
Unfortunately, I found it very underwhelming. I wonder if the issues are down to visiting during the frantic festive season, if I'm going to be generous. The staff seemed to be under pressure and not very happy, with the exception of the bar staff in the evening, who were all cheerful and full of banter.
I know I didn't pay for it, but someone did, and really didn't get their money's worth.

Bedroom was clean.
Bed was comfortable.
Meeting room was a good size and with natural light.
Food was amazing.
Employees were great, very helpful and friendly.
Monika and Elizabeth during the breakfast were superstars.
Junella and Elliot during the dinner service were very good.
Anita or reception was very helpful when I needed to extend my reservation.
Harriet was a real gem throughout the whole stay.
