Stanwell

I accidentally booked for the wrong dates (which is admittedly my fault!). I meant to book it for the same night I booked in and ended up booking for 3 weeks in advance. It was non-refundable. Nonetheless, I immediately called the accommodation (5 minutes after the mistake) to explain the situation and rectify the mistake. I was told they would provide me with a free cancellation if I called the booking agency (Booking.com), which I did. Booking.com told me they could not get in touch with the accommodation. I was charged for the reservation. I called them again, no one picked up. I sent multiple messages, no one ever answer. I finally got Booking.com to speak with their manager. He confirmed it's a non-refundable policy and I would not get a refund (despite trying to rectify the mistake 5 minutes after the incident, 3 weeks before the reservation, mind you).

I did not show up, since I simply could not show up on these dates, so I didn't experience the accommodation. The mistake was mine and I don't fault them for it, but I'm giving them the lowest rating due to the poor customer service and clear lack of good faith. No wonder the average rating is low as it is. I don't recommend this accommodation. Thank you.

How can you call this a hotel.Very poor host, hostile to say the lest,
Could understand that I only wanted to leave my bags, was exhausted, and wanted food. The room was filthy , shower well I was afraidto use it, fridge had very old spilt milk in it. The double bed is a 3/4 bed. No duvet.
TV does not work garden a mess , signed poor. I want my money back .
My feet were black walking on the floor, I have pictures.
Do book this kidon hotel nothing of the sort.

Absolutely disgusting. Sanitary wrappers on bathroom floor. Advertised as bed and breakfast but no breakfast. Cups from previous residence washed I front of us and dried in old towels. Our floor was moped after we had checked in.

Rooms okay for one night, 7 minutes drive from airport, service does not exist. Fine for an early departure at Stansted.

Don't bother. Pay a little more and get something better. They are taking advantage of being close to the airport, there is nothing else going for it. Dirty, broken TV and shower, dated furniture, broken blinds that give no privacy. Just awful

5 minutes to the airport, bus stop right outside and plenty of pubs and eateries near by. Very basic but does the job for the night, clean and bed comfy enough!

Nice room, warm enough but this morning to awake up and get self ready for journey, I saw insect in my bed.......

Very nice and calm hotel. Also possible to make late check in. We came around 1 in the night and sir Ahmed came to give us our room.
