Breakfast was fantastic and can't fault the service. The room was a little small and the noise from outside was a little loud, not the traffic as we had a room at the back of the property, it was from the cooler for the beer for the pud side of it. We checked in and found only one cup and one glass even though the room was for 2. I would come back for lunch but not to stay over.

My sister and I stayed there when we went to the bath and west showground for a craft fair. We always stay here. Unfortunately Jim who used to be at the hotel, who was such a great character has left however the new staff are really nice. Hope to be going back next year.

We were staying at the establishment next door but after checking found their menu more interesting and the dining room much more relaxing. Had a delicious evening dinner so came back for breakfast, which was also good value in a nicer dining room. Don’t be put off by the old grey facade at the road junction end of the building. The building is newly renovated and entrance is at the opposite end of the carpark. Didn’t stay there but will next time, the rooms look really good! An interesting feature is the old well in the centre of the bar area floor) glass covered and spotlighted

Booked today for lunch & so glad we did...Food was so lush & tasty, staff friendly & even gave the grandchildren food to feed the fish, which they loved doing. Will definitely be returning...

Dropped in for some food on way home from glasto… Welcomed ace from the start , had a couple of steak meals… Fantastic service and the food was piled high and quite simply bangin! Cheers folks

Room small bed 4 ft double difficult for tall people or those with a fuller figure sharing. Food well cooked although limited choice. Staff friendly and helpful.

Food was absolutely beautiful. Plenty to choose from, cooked by the very lovely Andy, who was very passionate about his food. Service was fabulous and Heather was a great host. The interior was clean and modern and inviting with the added bonus of a well with a viewing glass. Toilets were very clean and fresh. Thank you Andy and Heather, we will be back.

Stayed 1 night only, room a bit small but lovely bed linen and comfy bed. Great bar & prices. The best part was the amazing steak, cooked to perfection and the biggest cheeseboard ever. Great night guys.
