Have visited for breakfast twice now and I cannot give one reason to go. The service is terrible and food very below average. On our latest visit they forgot one order, no apology the waitress simply slammed it down on the table 10 minutes later (after we notified of it missing) with a "there you go". All those on the table that had ordered spinach round it gritty and sandy, obviously unwashed. The waitress who served us was quite simply rude. I have no idea if this is through a lack of training or a complete lack of care, but I really urge anyone thinking of booking here to think again. There are so many better spots for something to eat along the Pantiles. We will never be returning.

Spending a lot of money on food and being very rudely told 20 minutes before they closed by bouncers to leave the table was an awful experience at the jazz. They could have come to us at 11pm and politely said they are closing but instead chose to ask us to leave 3 times BEFORE 11 in a very rude and aggressive way. I have only received such rude treatment from a bouncer in weatherspoons once and it’s not a place i like to go, I’d expect better after spending £200 on a meal for two. Truly going down the drain. Used to love that event and raved about but i was embarrassed to invite my friend there this week, she didn’t enjoy it either.

Lovely meal and great service, just a shame they want £25.00 per head to book a table, takes the edge off it a bit. Needless to say we just turned up and there were plenty of tables.

Stopped for a couple of beers and a small portion of calamari and I wouldn’t do it again. Everything is awfully expensive, calamari were chewy and the coating would fall apart before the bite reached my mouth. They gave me heartburn right away. In the end I paid in full including service even though I was hoping for better apologies from staff.

My family and I stopped at the Tunbridge Wells Hotel whilst walking around the market. Market was lovely and the live music was great. The service was appalling! And to top it off we waited almost 15 minutes to be served our drinks and a hot chocolate in a lipstick covered glass! The staff were not overly friendly and I can guarantee we will not be returning.

Great place, great location, fantastic staff. Men's toilets are " non splashback " safe even in beige trousers. Julien, the owner, most charming and gentlemanly of men and trains his staff likewise. Never spent the night there bit I'm sure it would be marvellous. Mainly because I live on the Pantiles too.

All night, there was groaning from the water pipes. Kept waking us up.

Room was ok, if you don't mind walking up 4 flights of stairs. Tea coffee in rooms.

Shower was only like warm, no matter how much we turned the thermostat up.

Paid for breakfast, which was ( on the menu ) explained, lovely. When it come, the eggs were over done, the beans were stewed, no butter on the toast. Sausage was deep fried and tasteless.

Breakfast for 2, including 1 tea, and 1 coffee, was extortionate at £38.19. And for the price we'd of expected a better quality.

The room cost us £160.99, and for that, it wasn't worth it.

The experience was ok, but not outstanding

The staff were nice
