The tastiest Sunday lunch we've ever had!! The bar lady was very friendly and welcoming and the service was wonderful. We felt very accommodated and so did all the other customers that were there at the same time as us. We're local to the Westcountry Inn and we will definitely be bringing our family and friends back for another Sunday lunch. Thank you!

Five of us stayed here for one night in the family room it’s real olde worldy but was lovely and clean and the chef and Paula were really welcoming and helpful had my two grandchildren aged four and seven with us and they were given exactly what they asked for for their breakfast would recommend.

Visited for a Sunday lunch. A treat for my Daughter and Grandson on his Birthday. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Not a carvery, but the meals served up were second to none. A choice of beef, pork or chicken was served with plenty of vegetables, cauliflower cheese and extra gravy served separately to the table. The owner could not have been more helpful, even changing the sweet menu to suit our tastes. Nothing was too much trouble. By far the best roast meal out, that I have had in a long time. Thank you Westcountry Inn, we will be back.

Lovely friendly landlady.

Room was clean enough. Could have done with a once over as was a little dusty in the bathroom where it had been left a while potentially as we went off season and were the only ones there.
Water pressure for the shower though was non existent! Really hard to shower 😂

Well located for us to do what we wanted to do. Close to beaches and dog friendly so our dog came with us which was great.

As the heating goes off overnight the landlady gave us a heater for the room which kept us really warm and toasty.

Fires lit in the pub area each evening which meant we could sit in front of it with the dog.

Good choice of food available in the evenings as well.

Well worth a trip. Their Sunday lunches sounded amazing too though we checked out in the morning on the Sunday!

Will head back some time to visit.

The roads around it are very twisty though so ideal for motorcyclists if you need a stop somewhere on a day trip!

I could have never imagined that a take-away roast dinner could taste so good. It's better than any roast dinner I have had in any restaurant for as long as I can remember. Very generous portions including roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, a variety of vegetables and gravy. It really was absolutely delicious. Five stars.

Although it was a while ago our stay there was nothing far from everything we wanted. The staff were really welcoming and went above and beyond when assisting us. The family room was perfect for the five of us. Views from the room were priceless looking onto the moor at night. I honestly can't recommend it enough. You simply have to try it and see for yourself
