Simple, spacious rooms. Room service dinners were speedily delivered and good quality. Pet-friendly, with easy walking trails nearby. Have stayed multiple times. It's not fancy, but it's perfect for a Eurotunnel stopover.

An excellent team providing good service are badly let down by the condition of the public areas in this hotel. Damaged paintwork and walls, worn out carpet and horribly overgrown gardens negate the quality of service provided. I congratulate the check in staff who took the care to find an alternative room for my elderly mother much nearer the entrance and dining areas. The rooms have been refreshed in the last few years, but it is clear that simple faults are not reported by cleaning staff, or are not put right by the maintenance team. The management of the hotel need to pay much more attention to the maintenance of the whole site.

Lovely hotel free parking rooms are ok but no fridge, maybe this is premium only. I did find the rooms a little dated where there are no plug sockets near the bedside but we're clean and inviting.
The bar was quiet but understaffed and waited 20 minutes before seeing someone to be served.
Breakfast was nice but the restaurant had a very strange layout as though it was an afterthought.

Cannot fault any of the staff for friendliness very helpful and informative.

I would definitely visit again if down that way.

A cosy and spacious pet friendly hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I found irritating is, although the walls are perfectly soundproof, the doors aren't. Overall, we had a good time, just sleeping overnight is a challenge.

My grandson was not well during the night sickness. The night time team were so helpful. Changed rooms so they could clean up. So helpful they couldn't do anymore for us. Brilliant staff
Please take note higher managers. Its the staff that give you the good name.

The hotel was easy to find. Parking is ample with the Blue Badge bays well placed. The parts of the hotel we saw were slightly old fashioned but the better for it.

Our room was large (compared to most Holiday Inns), well furnished but the standard light was in the wrong place. There was a bath with a shower over. The bed was quite comfortable..

We had dinner in the restaurant. The shepherds pie was fine if a very salty. My partner had an cheese omelette and chips. The omelette was akin to leather, probably because it had been cooked well before being served and the cheese was a nasty lump. Her chips were well underdone. The service was very slow. As usual at a Holiday Inn, there was a limited range of draught beers and the only one close to a bitter was quite sweet. The waitress was struggling with her electronic ordering and was unaware that I could charge the meal to my room.

Breakfast was rather better and the waiter was very efficient and helpful.

Check in and out was smooth but why can’t Holiday iInns just make charging to your room straightforward..

Very easy check in. Helpful staff. Room was nice and clean and roomy. Only problem was I checked my car in for my 4 night stay. But then I received two letters for fines for staying over the stated times. Matter was put right after two phone calls for each time.

We had a Premium room and it was spacious clean and well equipped
Large comfortable bed. Sofa bed too. Large tv with quality sound (unusual in hotels, sound is usually poor). Well equipped bathroom, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was expensive at £12 each. We have small appetites so poor value for us and hot food not very warm. Maybe a sharing option would work
Restaurant for dinner was far too hot, had to open window and put up with draft. Didnt like being charged in dollars and paying more than quoted because of exchange rate charges
However would recommend and would stay again
