Such an atmospheric place to stay! It's an old Inn so don't expect even walls and floors,or picture windows. Expect old beams fabulous fireplaces and leaded windows. The bed was comfortable, the shower was quite large and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful, wonderfully cooked, and lots of choice. Will go back if we can.

An amazing old hotel. The decor and the building is so beautifully kept to its historical relevance. Our family room had uneven floors but this is a 600 Yr old building. Absolutely love this place. Feels warm and friendly. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience with Emily and her team. They were very accommodating and very easy to talk to. They are very flexible with the times and most of all they are all very nice. That’s just the people! Not including that the whole place is amazing, the rustic victorian interior is perfect for themed events, which you can design however you want.

I took this hotel over many others because it said parking on site. Instead they sold them all to others not staying there and told me to go down the road (said it would cost a couple of quid) it cost £12.50 to park the car-and had to drag the bags back and forth to the hotel. The receptionist was rude. I would recommend everyone booking another hotel with out parking as this was a mistake - simply the worst place I’ve stayed in -out of the last 15 hotels I’ve been to this trip. No one cared about anything!

Rooms cozy and clean- shower a bit of a challenge as you have to step down c 30 inches + ceilings low! But the staff were lovely and the location is fantastic

Had our work Christmas meal in the restaurant. Outstanding decor and environment and superbly cooked food. My first turkey meal of the year was a good one which all the others will now be measured by. Very enjoyable afternoon.

Had my daughters wedding reception there, everything was wonderful, food they laid on was lovely,the staff were very friendly and would definitely recommend them 💗💗
