The Staff were friendly, and the facilities were clean with my room being serviced during the day as I stayed for 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable. There was a relatively new LCD TV in the room.

Unfortunately there was hot water pipes running through my room, which made the room uncomfortably warm at all times. The shower was damaged and cold water was dripping onto me in a constant stream. The windows were only single-glazed, so when the town-centre started getting lively at 6:30AM, I was woken up.The WiFi simply didn't work. Also, I feel like I was overcharged as I paid £130 for a single person to stay 2 nights, yet the rooms were advertised at 'from £29 a night' and it was even mentioned within the hotel guide that it was a budget B&B.

Stayed for three nights, Never again!!!!

I travel a lot with my work so I’ve stayed in hundreds of b&bs and hotels. This is by far the worst.
Shared shower rooms are awful with locks not working and barely enough space to get in and out.
The rooms are situated above a night club so don’t expect any sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people snoring.

Bar far the worst was on the second night at 12.00 some walked into my room. They had been given the wrong room key. On the final evening this happened again they checked someone else into my room. Your personal items will not be safe.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

If only it were possible to give a review lower than one! Shocking! The duvet had dried snot on it, as did the walls! And as it turns out it’s right above a night club. A fact for which we received no warning. so we decided to drive home at 2am as it was impossible to sleep with all the noise! That being said the staff were very helpful when we arrived. But I will not be staying there again.

Sheets were not clean. Blood stain on my friend's top sheet and brown marks on my sheets. No hand towels in the room and toilet roll holder fell off on the floor. Shower was black mould and hot water tap was not working properly. The heating on all night with no ventilation as Windows wouldn't open. All in all wouldn't stop there again as you couldn't book in till 3pm but kicked out of the hotel at 09.30 but online it was 10.30........not impressed!!

Never again.
I stayed here 5years ago and it was OK, basic but clean, did the job for the night.
Stayed last night and OMG I think someone had died, weed or soiled on the bed. Bed was not made, mattress was up the wall and the room stank. The bending to makeup the bed seemed clean but the quilt was highly stained. I was told not to use the shower as it leaks into the kitchen.
NEVER will I return.

Hotel was ok, basic. Staff were friendly and helpful, area is nice, lots of shops, bars, cafes. I don't think it's worth £60 as the ceiling light didn't work in the room so we just had the lamp on, and the shower was really dirty, black mouldy tiles, stained bedding, very dusty lampshade, and the little glass that was used for storing the teas, coffee, sugar was really dirty and looked like it had previously been used as an ashtray. I would stay again but I wouldn't pay £60.

Disgusting treatment. The money was taken from my account, yet on arrival, we were informed by a very unhelpful member of staff that all rooms were uninhabitable, with no beds & that all bookings were cancelled! We'd booked the accommodation many months in advance, for Download Festival and were then left high & dry with nowhere to stay & little time to get to the Festival, of which we'd paid hundreds for. Why weren't we informed? Why was the money taken? Why hadn't the member of staff thought to inform Booking.com to save inconveniencing travellers? He told us that customers had arrived the previous night & been turned away, so why not use some common sense & have the decency to inform paying customers in good time, so they could make other arrangements? Not only was money taken, an extra £40 cost in taxis plus £12 in parking costs was incurred unnecessarily. Shameful, disgraceful people.

booked for an actor in my film, room was revolting and resembled a prison room. the shower was moulding and did not work. bed was stained and uncomfortable. in the end he slept on my sofa. the nonrefundable £40 a night makes sence
