Holiday Inn Express Slough, an IHG Hotel

The exterior and reception area is modern, as is the restaurant. The room was lovely and modern, and although small, the facilities were good. The train station next door was a little noisy but worth the convenient location. The bed was fine - even the sofa bed was OK. The cleanliness standards seemed fine, which is a really important factor for me. The deal breaker when booking was the breakfast though - and it was great, especially as it is included in the price - definitely the major advantage over the competition. Overall, a great stay at a great value hotel. We are definitely intending on visiting again soon.

Being next to the railway station this is a perfect place to stay when visiting London and Windsor.

Parking is safe and secure.

The staff are very helpful and always willing to help.

Rooms are clean and modern. The only issue is that there is no wardrobe; just a hanging rack. There is a good TV and decent sized bathroom and tea and coffee. Rooms are spotless.

Breakfast which is included is decent and hot. Coffee and tea is excellent and the staff work really hard to clear tables and keep the food areas stocked.

The bar is clean and modern with a good selection.



All in all a pleasant stay and extremely good value. Highly recommended

Check in was a very smooth service. The receptionist was brilliant with my two children. Our room was spotless, beds made up ready for us. The beds was so comfortable, we all slept like a log. Each time we went down I was asked if I was okay and if I needed anything. Breakfast was beautiful. The choice was amazing and we didn't know what to eat first everything was hot and fresh and restocked regularly. The restaurant staff was okay, could have smiled abit more or tried to interact with a few customers.

I stayed just recently with my young daughter and was pleasantly surprised at how very clean and well maintained it was. Both the hotel and room were immaculate. The staff were very helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. We had an extremely good nights sleep, with nice soft beds and even softer pillows. The breakfast is good but could be improved with vegetarian options, rather than just the cereal. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends and family as a place to stay.

The room is what is expected in these type of hotels but I was there for 2 weeks and needed the internet for work. This internet is way below average. I ended up moving rooms to see if it made a difference but no. It’s 2022 and there’s are like it’s back in 2002. If you need the internet like I do I would avoid this place.

The security and receptionist were very rude and refused to let me use the toilet which is against the law as hotels are supposed to allow anybody to use the toilet. I mentioned this to the security guards and they laughed and told me to go away and that this is not true and they don’t have to let anybody use the toilet.. 09/09/22

Haven't stayed yet. Tried ringing these now over 20 times and can't even get through. Even left voice mail and still now.

I stayed there for 3 nights and found following issues:

- Rooms were too warm.
- No air conditioning system.
- Telephone system did work so I had to go downstairs 4 times to talk to the reception.
- False alarm went off at 7am for no reason and lift stopped working for few hours.

Avoid.
