Best Western London Heathrow Ariel Hotel

The hotel and the rooms need a deep clean of the carpets an upgrade. It was convenient and the restaurant had good food, even if the menu was limited. I'd stay here again if it was a short stay and if I needed to be near the airport.

Given a room suitable for disabled guests which had a bright green light in the ceiling all night. There was a party of children staying and were running around shouting all night. Got very little sleep and had an early flight the next day. Not a good start to a holiday. Only consolation was price and location.

The Hotel is getting very dated, the food was good and good portions.
Hygiene and cleanliness could improve the window cill in the dining room was full of dead flies my breakfast glass had lipstick marks on and the cutlery you needed to check before using.
Reception indicated to us that the time to get to Terminal 2 bus terminal would be 30 minutes we allowed an hour and still would have missed the bus if it had not have been late.
I informed reception on our second visit and they were still telling people 30 min.

Room wasn't too bad ,

Needed a good clean, marks up walls skirting board dusty.

Compact double bed (not convinced it was a full size double) plenty of plug sockets, 9 in our compact room.

Shower whilst lovley and powerful the shower curtain didn't get to wall so left a gap where water went all over the side.

Helpful staff.

Clean but dated hotel. Unfriendly and somewhat sarcastic reception although the fake smile can be appreciated by some. No issues with sounds of the London wilderness. Clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom needs some serious work...... Paint peeling from roof, leaking shower head, stains older than I am, silicon bath trim with the biggest germ breeding ground and the worst smelling shampoo and body wash I've ever had the honour of using and not to forget the filthy wall next to the bed. Will I stay here again? Not for the price they ask per room.

Reception staff extremely helpful. Easy shuttle bus service from Heathrow. Good breakfast available. Parking packages good. Restaurant staff not so good and restaurant not well serviced by staff at breakfast.

Stayed for 1 night after meeting my partner at Heathrow on her return from Madrid. Reception staff extremely pleasant and helpful. I was going to use the airport shuttle bus to get to the airport but the lady on reception advised me to use public transport as it was a lot cheaper. Staff in restaurant were excellent as well.
I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed there one night with work trip. Reception was crazy slow. I was given executive room, but as soon as I got out of the lift I knew it’s not going to be good. The hall and room are in need of serious updating. Bathroom had minging shower curtain, and there were some hair left in the bath…. Restaurant and bar staff were quite rude, reception never passed the message to them to say my dinner and breakfast was already paid for, so I had to explain myself before each meal… needless to say I will be looking to stay somewhere else next time.
