Great place! Our handicapped room was essentially new. Breakfast was excellent, except the sausages were mushy and the bacon was pretty dry, but the baked goods were incredible, and the fruit was sweet (when was the last time you had naturally sweet pineapple in an airport hotel buffet?)
There is the local bus to the terminals (under 2 gbp) and there is a specific shuttle (about 6 gbp). Both very easy to get to during the daytime. Would absolutely stay there again!

We were more than pleased with our stay at Staybridge Suites near London's Heathrow airport. The service was good, but the hotel environment itself was the star. The lobby, community lounge, and rooms were beautiful with so many high-end details. We felt a little like royalty ourselves!! Our guest room was lovely - very luxurious and you could tell there was attention to all the details a guest would enjoy. Beautifully decorated. Our room was about 1/2 way down a hallway and VERY quiet. We had a great night's sleep. Thank you for all the care taken to ensure our travel was extra special.

This was our second stay, and we have already booked another for our next holiday which should tell you everything you need to know. Given the train strikes and uncertainty on the M25 we do not risk travelling down on the morning of the day of the flight. The first time we stayed the breakfast was made available in the adjoining Holiday Inn hotel - a much larger facility with chefs available. Going next door was not an issue at all as the breakfast served there was excellent. This time the breakfast was inside the Staybridge.Much smaller facility but adequate. As our flight was not until 1pm we opted to leave it a little later to go down. We wrongly assumed that the breakfast would be served until at least 10a.m. (-Our fault there was a notice in the lift.) No, it shuts at 0930 prompt, and I mean prompt. We arrived at around 0928. I have never seen so much food collected so quickly to clear the buffet area. Hopefully it was not heading for the bins! Our room (mini suite) was so well provided for we cannot imagine why anyone would opt for a standard hotel room without all the amenities on offer. Only suggestion I could make on the socialising side would be to have the happy hour later in the evening, as those arriving in the evening do miss out, however we were there to have a good nights sleep before heading off, not to party.

Only stayed one night, as I was between flight s out of Heathrow.

The check-in was smooth and friendly. Our room was a good size and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Although close to the airport, the room was quiet and had no outside noise.

We had dinner at the Holiday Inn next door and the food was excellent, as well as the attentive service. Our waiter Christopher was very helpful and polite - and his service was appreciated.

I would definitely stay here again when at Heathrow.

Excellent hotel. We had a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen. Everything was perfect. Had dinner next door at the Holiday Inn Was really great good. The breakfast buffet was nice with a decent selection of food. Would definitely stay here again when at Heathrow.

We stayed here for 4 nights . The room is really good . The beds are comfortable abs the breakfast buffet is great , considering the price , it was a bargain .
The bedroom
We got was a king size suite so having the extra room was great .
The hotel is clean , and staff are friendly .
A couple of things :
1. They don't clean the Rooms on weekends, they failed to tell us . Later we found out we have to request 24 hours ahead.
2. Coming from USA they didn't have additional adapters for us to use .we kept asking for it but they don't have a lot and clients don't return them .
3. They gave us towels since we needed them .
4. The shower is really good- hot water was consistent !! The temperature controls worked fine / we never used the kitchenette, but it was clean / and very elegant looking .

Easy to find, expect we walked into the holiday Inn side to begin with.
The room was a great size, with a decent kitchen and living room space.
Great buffet breakfast too
The room wasn't ready to check in to when I arrived at 5pm (thought check in is usually from 2pm?)
The cooker didn't work and had to call maintanace. Who arrived with a part for the cooker as if it was a usual problem.

Avoid this hotel. The lobby is creepy and depressing. Be careful as the hotel has interior rooms that face an internal atrium that shows car rental companies. It feels like a terrible mall, and you'd be better off sleeping at the airport for free. After getting to our room which was claustrophobic we called the front desk for a change of room - hoping for windows to the outside world. They could not accommodate. We had to book a new hotel and this hotel would not refund us. Believe me, there are PLENTY of better options with better customer service.
