Amazing experience.

The hotel was great, staff super polite and couldn't do enough to help us.
The themed rooms and common areas were a nice touch and got you really immersed in the safari feeling.
The view from the decking area was amazing and the view from our room was phenomenal. With the gorgeous weather it felt like you were on safari.
The rooms were huge and the kids area was a nice touch to give us and them a little freedom.
The only negatives would be that morel elevators would have been nice as at certain times of day it could be rather busy.

Otherwise an amazing stay at an amazing hotel.

Myself and 3 kids (11, 2 and 8 months) stayed in an accessible room on the third floor. The giraffe themed design was beautiful and the view from our room was great. My little one was up animal gazing every morning.

Check in and out was very clear and easy to do.

We ate at the Temple restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast and dinner were easy to book. Breakfast was a continental buffet breakfast as well as cereals, yogurts and a range of fruit. They even had a variety of milk options at breakfast.
Dinner was again a buffet, fast food and also roast. Less variety for dessert but was still a good meal.

In the evenings they had entertainment for the kids in the lounge but we were too tired to go after the park.

Beds were comfy. Standard hotel amenities and also a small in room fridge.

This was the best hotel I've stayed at in England. We normally do Premier Inn. My goodness this did not disappoint. It was honestly amazing. My husband was on business, so took my 3 kids and stayed in a quad room. 2 single beds and bunk bed. We'd already had a day in the park and booked to go again the next day. We ate in Temple bar and restaurant the night of our stay. It was amazing. It felt like we were in another country. The staff were so friendly it was lovely. My kids loved it. It was a nice touch having the leaf ants going along the wall, in tubes. It was so lovely to eat breakfast seeing the animals, zebras etc roaming. Fantastic stay and would highly recommend

The theming in the hotel is really nice. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the room on the broom room. It all looked really good and the view from the room was fantastic! You can see into part of the zoo area, also as a hotel guest after the park closes you can go and walk around part of the zoo area. We ate at the temple restaurant for dinner and breakfast, food was good and there was plenty.

I'd give the hotel 3.5 starts. The experience was a bit of a mix bag, with positives outweighing the negatives.

Positives:
Some staff were lovely and attentive.
The cleaners were friendly, always said hello and even folded our little one's pyjama.
The breakfast had a great selection and the mushrooms were the best.
The bed was comfy.
Chocolate for the kids - a nice touch.
Splash pool was fun but the showers were cold.
Kids entertainment in the evening (the ranger's club?) - brilliant idea and our kid loved it.
Loved the butterflies and the tortoises.

Negatives:
The smell on the ground floor near the restaurant... kind of a care home canteen smell.. masked by an air freshener.
I'd get rid of the carpets and deep clean the whole ground floor.
Some restaurant/bar staff are too young and don't have the knowledge (don't blame them). I think black tea is the most basic thing but the waitress had to ask 2 colleagues how to make it🙈
The shower pressure was very low.
The restaurant menu.... I think most things were frozen. Even the berry sauce accompanying a cheesecake was one of those artificial squirty ones plus cheap biscuits on the side. I wish one of the restaurants had a high quality menu even if it cost more, otherwise you have two nearly identical restaurants to choose from.
Weird tension between restaurant staff. One waitress was amazing and attentive and her colleagues were giving her weird looks. We had no idea what that was all about.

Such fun! Aimed at families visiting the theme park, this is a good hotel. The rooms have good double beds with two smaller beds for kids in their own separate part of the room with their own TV 😃 Many rooms overlook the safari park. We could see Giraffe, Antelope and Zebra from ours. You can walk outside into the viewing area or go straight into the Safari Park.In the lobby there is a fun indoor pets enclosure. Breakfast is excellent and you can get straight into the theme park. There is good, free parking.

We had the most wonderful 2 night stay here. Beautiful surroundings, animal watching and early access to some of the rides at the theme park coupled with spacious, clean rooms made this a real winner for my young family. Would recommend to anyone for a short break.

Great hotel but under staffed. Every staff member we saw was super helpful and friendly but on several occasions they were having to cover multiple positions.

Disappointed that there were swimming lessons in the pool as this took a lot of space and we were really excited for swimming. Surely we should have been told this when booking?

The rooms were great and there's so many points to see the animals from the hotel which is really nice.

Lack of vegan options and vegan labelling on the menu was disappointing.
