Mercure London Heathrow Hotel

We chose this hotel for the airport shuttle. There is no shuttle. They call a local cab company that cost £20, but there is a bus stop within walking distance that will take you there for £2.60 each. The rooms are tired, but clean and the bed was comfy under the air conditioning. The lobby is very nice, and they do offer a complimentary drink. We have to be out the door early, so hope to grab something on the way out the door.

We stayed for a layover due to our flight cancellation. The hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive. We stayed for both dinner and breakfast. Some delicious choices and very generous! The breakfast was laid out very well and a lot to choose from. Service was great too!

I really enjoyed my stay here room was clean and bed comfortable. The hotel is quite close to the airport but I wasn’t affected by the noise of planes. Food is delicious! Dinner was lamb karahi both tasty and cooked to perfection - all the flavours of a home made dish and I loved the rice. I could have had seconds! Also would like to thank Sharon the waitress at breakfast really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of options for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again.

Room was adequate for a one night stay, with everything you need- tea/coffee/ toiletries. Restaurant open fairly late, bar area is nice. The car park was not so good. We parked in one of the car parks accessed by a ramp. The smell was disgusting and the car covered in bird poo in the morning. However the hotel room and car parking price was very good and we would actually stay there again due to the close proximity to the airport.

Absolutely Shambolic! Security at this place is a joke! We had a pair of designer sunglasses, money and prescribed medication stolen from our room during a 20 minute period it was empty. When we returned to our room our key did not work, upon entry items had been removed. The hotel were not helpful in the slightest and I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by their lack of consideration and also the lack of surprise regarding a security breach. I suspect something very untoward if happening at this place, management did not even seem remotely concerned or surprised. The room carpets were stained, it smelt unhygienic and both myself and my partner did not feel well after spending a night in the room. I cannot advise people enough to AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAUGE! Do not stay here unless you are open to having your personal belongings rummaged through and stolen! Thankfully that medication was not a complete necessity otherwise I would be pursuing legal action. But something tells me with their relax unconcerned approach contacting the police will have little effect. Apologies to anyone in advance who booked without reading this review!

We had our Xmas party at the venue.The decoration and presentation was on point, the staff went the extra mile to cater for all our needs and were very helpful. Top service. The food which was a 3 course meal was exceptional. The chef personally greeted us and checked on us. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the service and food and would be recommending this venue and hotel to all friends and family. Special thanks to Vijay for help setting up the event and to Jo on the day for his assistance throughout.

The mercure is always a comfortable and enjoyable stay located in a quiet area for a peaceful sleep. The rooms are warm and clean and housekeeping are always available in the mornings.Check in is easy and fast the reception staff are all very patient polite and helpful even at busy times they are always cheerful and ready to answer any questions. I had eaten at the hotel and must say the food is just amazing.. always tasty and fresh.
