Crowne Plaza London - Heathrow, an IHG Hotel

As usual a fantastic quiet night before a difficult trip. Staff were very helpful and kind. My room was really comfortable plenty of space, and I was able to relax and prepare for my journey. I always wish the bathrooms were a little more luxurious..I find them a bit dark and claustrophobic.they are of course adequate. Everything is for my comfort and I know the standard will be the same at each visit. Totally reliable. My car is safe in the carpark and the hopper bus is reliable.

I have tried other hotels but I return to this one for guaranteed satisfaction.

After our flight was cancelled and we were given a new flight the next day, we were kindly given a hotel room at the Crowne Plaza including transfers to and from the airport. The hotel room we were given was large with two double beds, which was nice but I felt could've been given to a family who may have needed it more. The facilities were clean and the extra amenities were nice. We were allowed free dinners and breakfasts each to go with our room due to the inconvenience of our flight. The dinner buffet was reasonable but there was no labelling for nutritional information. As someone who has to eat carefully and relies on vegan and gluten/dairy-free food, I was sorely disappointed as the only thing I could really eat was potatoes. The desserts looked lovely but there definitely weren't any gluten/dairy-free options. The breakfast in the morning was quite busy as there were many others who had been re-booked to different flights, this meant the food was quite minimal. I was able to have a few pastries and my partner had more of a variety. The available drinks were good, we were able to have hot chocolates and teas that were okay. Overall, the stay was pleasant and highly convenient when we had an unexpected cancellation of our flight.

This was my family of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) first time spending Christmas at a hotel, much less at Crowne Plaza Heathrow. At first our room was accidentally cancelled due to my card declining the cost of the room, as my bank thought it was a suspicious transaction close to Christmas. So this was no thought of CP. However, after contacting the hotel, the CP manager Tarun reinstated the room and added some complimentary offers. We were super pleased as this error took place just 2 days before Christmas and all our plans were centred around staying here.



Our first experience being at CP hotel for Christmas was amazing, we entered as IHG members and was offered warm mueller wine which was surprisingly delicious to me and one other family member who is not a drinker, that we actually went back for 2 more cups. The kids were offered colouring activities and chocolate and the tree in the lobby was beautifully decorated and we couldn’t help but notice how clean and tidy the hotel was.



The dinner was nice and the breakfast had a lot of variety, especially as I am a vegan. The fact that it was a buffet made it more amazing! My family and I are big eaters, so this was especially pleasing.



I would definitely visit here again, we are planning to repeat this again by staying at another CP hotel but for 2 nights instead. If your looking for a nice, welcoming, relaxing Christmas in a clean and tidy hotel that is very cost effective, then I will highly recommend CP.

Staff were incredibly pleasant, attentive and could not do enough to help you. Hotel was very clean and tidy. Easy to find and in close proximity to Heathrow Airport. Offers long stay parking options if required. A lower floor room proved a little noisy as trucks were operating a night at the back of the hotel. Pillows were a little lumpy, some variety in the room would be useful as by the time you jump into bed you don't want to ask reception for alternatives. All in all a good stay.

We stayed at the hotel due to being unable to take our flight to New York so was very last minute. The booking process was quick, check-in was efficient, the room was ready and comfortable. The bar service was good, the food tasty, if we had any complaint it would be the cost of the drinks but we do take into account that we were very close to Heathrow.

Overall the experience was a good one, we would stay again and recommend to others.

From booking-in to checking-out the whole experience was easy, calm and without any drama.

The family room was a good size with two double beds.

Even though the1st floor room faced the front of the building just to the side of reception the sound insulation was excellent and you would have no idea of how busy the hotel was or how close you are to main roads and to one of the worlds busiest airports.

The hotel also offers a good selection of good quality food served in the full service restaurant or the more informal bar area.

The fitness block is well kitted out the pool is warm and relaxing.

When we think hotel most of us think a place to sleep and recharge for whatever awaits us in our waking time, well let me assure you that in all the hotels, lodges, cottages etc I have stayed in absolutely nothing compares to the quality of sleep I experienced here at Crowne Plaza Hotel! Thank you for that!
The hotel is a little dated in decor but is currently undergoing MAJOR refurbishment which will include every single room in this establishment so be patient and I believe this hotel will be a major contender in the Heathrow area.
The staff here are all very professional and helpful and do what it takes to make your stay as easy and relaxed as can be.
Food is top quality with generous portions and competitively priced for the area.
I look forward to revisiting in time to see the progress with the refurbishment.

It's a nice and clean Hotel, with the best and most respectful staff ever, also they have a delicious meal with the Indian staff.
