Lovely hotel slap bang in the Centre of Croydon easy access to shops and restaurants. Did not try the breakfast so cannot give a rating based on this. The sheets were very clean and the bed is super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in need of a break. My only con is the towels they were all stained no matter what even when received fresh towels. Also the rooms has no refrigerator to keep drinks or leftovers fresh which is another con for me. The staff are very efficient. I would recommend here for affordability and access to transportation and amenities as a city hotel when on a budget due to the quality of the rooms and the ambience is modern.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay here.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices ranging from sausage and eggs to fruit and bread. The lobby bar looked inviting but we didn’t visit.

The hotel is very clean and modern overall. We found several shops and pubs a short walk away, even though the hotel is located in a business district with mostly office buildings nearby.

The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The only negative was, on our arrival, the lobby area reeked of bad fish. Fortunately by the next morning the smell was gone.

We would stay here again.

Iara was the most perfect receptionist.
I had first locked my key in The room. She gave me a pass to get it. Then I lost a key. She was so understanding and made me yet another. She was pleasant and friendly all the time.
I also loved the odd socks.
Best receptionist that I have had the pleasure to meet.

The room was nice and clean,
No where to put your make up on! The fridge was under the countertop where you need to sit to see in it.
The bathroom needed the grouting in the shower area to be redone some of it was black! But the bathroom itself was clean.
I really liked the staff here, both at reception and the bar they were welcoming and polite. Can't fault them. Thank you.
Didn't eat here but after eating at the Birmingham Jury's inn I will not eat in this hotel chain again! Food below average and over priced!
All in all I had a good experience.

Would give 0 stars if it was allowed. Had the worst, most terrifying experience at this hotel and were promptly harassed by the manager. My friends and I were staying in London for the weekend on holiday, and we thought the hotel was lovely at first. After one night, we were awoken early in the morning to hours of construction that we weren't told about when we made the reservation. Then, we nearly called the police after hearing screams for help from the neighboring room. After calling reception twice, no one helped us and we left two days early. So, after hours of construction and screams for help that prompted us to call the police, the manager and staff told us nothing was going on even after we begged to go investigate the situation. I suppose you should go to this hotel if you want to fear for your life and then be gaslit by the entire staff. Cheers!
P.S. we were promised a refund and after countless calls and e-mails have heard nothing. So, we will continue to leave as many reviews as it takes until we are answered! Xoxo

It is labelled a 4 star but definately not a 4 star unless the definition is different in London. The price is for a 4 star but for the facilities, cleanliiness it is closer to a 4 star but not there :)

The hotel is in a decent area of Croydon with closer access to all public transportation which includes

1) Trains to/from London Gatwick
2) Trains and subway lines to London (Victoria or Tower)
3) Buses
4) Trams

The train ride to London is around 20/25 mins but one needs to plan considering the rail strikers that have been impacting travel.

We stayed for 7 nights and overall the stay was good. The check in process was easy and lifts were all in operational. The beds were comfortable and the room was decent sized with some walking, seating space around the beds. We opted for cleaning every other day and it was ok. tea bags, coffee and creamer was reloaded so made me happy. The beds could have been taken care of a little. It is still ok considering how my family treats home :)
The TV options were great, enough USB, regular power ports. The breakfast was good as per my family. There is a bar by the lobby area which I did not try so cannot comment. However it was always packed with happy people.
There are many food choices in the area within 10 minutes walking distance from fast foods to restaurants. Boxpark within 10 minutes walking distance has many food choices (restaurants) and good drinks.

The room we stayed was hot and we could not turn on the AC. I had to pop open the windows to let the air cool the room.
The bathroom is definately not a 4 star and the toilet was not flushing properly. We had to flush many a times and I noticed that the mechanism in the tank and pressure was not ok. I had to open the tank lid, manually force the flush.

Overall a good experience of a 3 night stay. Opposite the shopping centre and main road, so convenient but front rooms noisy. The heating kept resetting and I couldn't turn it off which made the room too warm for my personal taste, but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Restaurant and bar area was popular. Breakfast had good selection. Friendly staff

The reception staff are very professional and gave excellent service. In fact all the staff I meet were great.
The room, it must be said was not a lot different to premier inn. The rooms are more colourful and a little bigger but that was really the only noticeable difference. I didn't walk in and think this is worth at least an extra £20 a night.
I had a meal from the restaurant and it was tasty, filling and we'll worth the price.
The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.
