2nd stay at this hotel, first since February 2020 and I have to say in all fairness to the staff, that most of them still remembered us. Geoffrey the manager is a very nice person and I was astounded to see so many bad comments on him in these reviews. Comfortable beds, accessible showers and baths, always cleaned to perfection whenever we asked. Overall friendly staff, the buffet for breakfast is 10/10, overall just a top class hotel, in a friendly location aswell. Would definitely recommend to a family who are looking for a cheap hotel.

Spent 2 nights here with the wife and 2 kids a few weeks ago. Service was first class, the chap in reception was very helpful with parking. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights and the food was very good value and the staff were courteous and helpful. Our room was clean and good value for what we paid. No noise issues either. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Tube. Would stay here again when in London.

Worth the money we pay. The staffs were really friendly, especially the girl at the reception desk. Breakfast was good for that rate. Would definitely recommend. Will come back for sure!

Excellent value. Modern building, good quality rooms.
Decent restaurant.
Reception can have queues for check in but no worse than more expensive hotels.
Parking £10 per day but on street parking is free nearby from 5.30 pm to 09.30am and is £2.40 per hour inbetween- but only via app.

When a company starts to neglect its assets this hotel is what it looks like. A large 8 floor hotel with an obviously tiny car park which is normal but most of the spaces are permanently occupied. Front gate is permanently open. There is a serious lack of staff in the bar and restaurant area doling out food that can be often wrong or cold. Reception staff are working in the restaurant area and vice versa. However the staff are very helpful and pleasant but are run off their feet.
The rooms are old and tired, desperately in need of an overhaul.
Staff don't answer the phone, ever.

Very nice hotel in which the windows can be opened so fresh air can get into the room (you don't see that in many multistory buildings). There is no ice machine but you can get ice from the bar. However, that is problematic when the bar is closed BUT the desk manager went and got me some, two nights in a row!

Exceptional service was also seen when I arrived 5 hours before check-in (flights from America arrive mid morning at Heathrow). They did have a room ready and let me check-in which was much appreciated since I was tired and wet from my walk from the train station.

Note: their website says that bag drop is not available at this hotel however I noticed there is a 'Luggage' room in the lobby. I asked if bag drop is available and they said yes.

Stayed here on 14 Oct 2022. It was not my first. Before the pandemic, I stayed here twice. The experience was good for the price. This third time was the same.

Room quite basic. For the price I paid, the room was decent. With a queen bed and an extra single bed, the room was still quite spacious. And quite brightly lit, unlike most other hotels.

Room clean, even though I saw a crisp wrapper on the floor.

Bed comfortable. The extra single bed was already set up even though I was alone.

Tea and coffee provided in-room with a kettle. Plus a hairdryer.

Bathroom clean. But no rails on the wall for elderly to get in and out of the bath shower safely. I didn't like showers in bath tubs for safety reason and I was told this hotel did not have rooms with stand alone shower cubicles.

The extraction fan was rather noisy.

Service at check in and check out was fast and easy. Only 1 lift was in operation. So had to wait a while.

We spent 3 nights, with two kids. We felt very comfortable. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. And very cheap car parking deal. It is 20 minutes away from London, but good train connection.
