Stayed in an old delapidated room (no 40) that is in dire need of a refurbishment, dating back to 70/80s. It smelt too. No windows open and it was very hot so the desk fan didn't do much. The tap fell off in the bathroom. The bed was uncomfy and is stained. All in, very overpriced for the quality (£110). Staff however were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast wasn't great either, reheated food.

Comfortable room and bed. Free parking, pleasant staff. Breakfast looked great but sausage although of good quality was dry inside. Good value for money.

We attended a Wake here and the food and service was nicely presented and tasted great. Minus one star for walking down a corridor with all the housekeeping trollies and dirty laundry on the floors outside the rooms. Perhaps it would have been sensible to allow us to enter through the main hotel rather than through the conference centre entrance on this occasion.

Has a lovely location, leading to other destinations. Reasonable size to the car park and think there as an area for kids but we did visit at night so it was not very clear. The Sunday roast was not amazing to be honest, unless you get the first dishes being dished out then the appeal Is not as high. The prices for the drink was competitive. But it could use a bit of a revamp

Nicely located English Country Hotel. Could do with some updating but everything was clean and worked well. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is plenty free parking on site

One slight downside was the strong smell of disinfectant in the room on arrival but this was solved by a bit of airing

This hotel is great value for money

The highlight is the attached pub which serves simple but good food and has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the bar staff were very and friendly helpful

Worth noting that it's an easy 15 minute drive to the Channel Tunnel, convenient for people looking for a stopover on their way to France

Had lunch here with family last week, all 4 of us agreed that it was one of the best meals we had had out at a pub or restaurant in a long time. We all had a different main and all 4 meals were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent 👌
Thank you for a fabulous time!

Had our works Xmas do here last Saturday. The food was lovely but warm at best when it arrived and soon got quite cold before finishing the meal. The pub itself is lovely inside, very christmassy and the disco was good fun

Unfortunately I can't star any rooms as we went for a wake after a funeral...But the staff, were polite helpful and courteous the location and standard of the rooms used were excellent the main bar area looked stunning. Might even go back for a pint. Recommended.
