I stayed several nights in this hotel in august. The rooms are nice and I always managed to have a good sleep. Full English breakfast was tasty and filling. Tawii and Barbara at the front desk are extremely professional and attentive. I received amazing customer service from both of them. They make you feel welcomed during the check-in process. Location is convenient and right next to the East Croydon train station. I’ll be booking this hotel again in the future.

Great location, being only a couple of minutes walk from East Croydon rail station for fast and frequent trains into London only taking around 15 minutes. Very good value for 3 nights stay. Much cheaper than staying in central London. Also very conveniently located for getting to and from Gatwick airport.
Very friendly restaurant and reception staff.
Only negatives I would say is that the entrance just off a busy street was quite grubby and poorly lit to the point that it could make some guests feel unsafe if travelling alone as you don’t see anyone until getting the lift to reception which is located on the first floor. Supply of condiments in room very low. Limited to only one cup of tea and coffee per day if a couple staying in the room. Had to go back to reception a couple of times. Firstly on check in after discovering we only had one towel. Also after our room was serviced on the second day, we were only given small hand towels. No large towels were provided. Air conditioning in room was quite poor and noisy. Windows are all locked shut so unable to get fresh air into the room.
Overall, I would stay at this premier inn again for its convenient location to Gatwick airport/access to central London and very good value for money.

Nice enough. Bear the station. Don’t like the entrance system - lifts open to anyone who wants to go in them because Reception is in the first floor. The lifts smell of wee and are dirty because of this. Lots of druggies wandering around the area and walking in and out of the hotel’s ground floor. Very unsettling. Hotel itself it totally understaffed. The few that still remain are run off their feet, but do an amazing job considering how thin on the ground they are & are usually really friendly and nice! Don’t know how they do it! I wouldn’t choose to stay here again but business dictates that I visit Croydon occasionally and that’s the cheapest hotel around East Croydon station!

We stayed here for 2 days. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly and quick to address our requirements. It takes nearly 1 and a half hours to the hotel from London by bus. But it is easier if you take the train. The East Croydon train station is near, so there is no transportation hassle. Overall, a great experience.

Positives - cheap, very close to the train station so great for accessing London, comfy bed and mostly quiet at night. The co-op next to the hotel was handy.

Negatives - the neighbourhood felt a bit rough, someone tripped a fire alarm a few times the 2nd night (we stayed 3 nights), the hotel felt a bit shabby and not very clean or up to Premier Inn's usual very good standards, the rooms were a bit stuffy and you couldn't open the windows. The lowest you could set the temperature to was 19 degrees. There was a lift out of order. The rooms weren't cleaned or the tea and coffee replenished the whole 3 days we were there and very difficult to get hold of staff to help.

Not the greatest Premier Inn I've been to but it was reasonable enough for a comfy night's sleep and very handy for visiting London.

This place was where I had one of the best night sleeps I've ever had in a hotel. after a long and tiring day of traveling, this hotel made up for it. The room was spacious and the view wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (I could see the hotel I went to last year) The breakfast was great as well. The image below is the view from room 215 and the room itself.

Had a great stay here for 2 nights while visiting some friends in London! Staff was very kind and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable. Only downsides I can note down was that the toilet water reservoir took a long awhile to fill up so you had to wait between flushes and the showerhead was attached to the wall which made rinsing off difficult.

Beds were comfy and the kettle was the cleanest I've seen in any hotel yet. Will recommend this place to my friends and gladly would stay there again in the future!

Family room was lovely and clean, enough towels for all of us etc
Breakfast was brilliant and Marcia in particular was wonderful with the children and very kind.
Would happily stay again when we next come to London. Very good value, especially close to Christmas.
Thank you
