Would highly recommend!
We stayed in the cute, cozy shepherds hut. It was absolutely amazing with beautiful views and the host, John, was superb. We will definitely be coming back down again very soon.
There’s a lot to do around the area, such as many different castles to see, pubs and restaurants and if you fancy the drive, we drove to Chester to visit Cheshire Oaks designer Outlet for the day.
Thank you again John. 👍🏻
I travelled alone from london and felt very safe and recalled during my entire stay .
The host John was super welcoming and the entire place was very clean and well maintained. Particularly enjoyed the private heated pool and the gorgeous appl from the apple tree .
Really Looking forward to going back.
The property was lovely with lots of character. Grounds were idyllic with so much nature to see and hear. Will miss picking apples from the tree outside our kitchen door to eat with breakfast and sitting in the dark gazing up at the stars sparkling in the sky.
The owners were friendly and welcoming. Fell in love with Maud the farm cat who had lots of love to give (especially when she was being fed kitty treats). Didn’t get chance to find out the chickens names but watching them every morning when I opened the curtains was wonderful.
Will be returning again and again and again.
We hired all of them for a big group booking.
John was absolutely amazing. He set us up a big fire at Dragons Henge and let us party until the early hours. He even joined us for a drink which was just lovely.
There was everything we needed! John had the most beautiful fruit trees which we could help ourselves to.
The location was outstanding and 10 out of 10 for the host.
We are all planning more trips with John! Thanks a million John 😊
The views were breathtaking of the rolling hills and valleys.
The property is a converted barn quaintly decorated, with a roaring fire stove.
A double bed and two single beds upstairs gives three or four people more them enough room to have a comfortable night. Furnished in a traditional style with board games, DVD's and books for everyone to enjoy.
The owner John is an approachable decent guy, who can provide everything for the stove that you should require. John also gives tips and information about local attractions, pubs and a great breakfast location in Ellesmere.
Summing up, you would not want to go anywhere else for a quiet, relaxing stay at a great price in a warm comfortable property.
