It's not as bad as the previous rating states, at least my room wasn't (6). My bed was solid enough, never thought it might collapse, it was comfy too, slept well (though my room was next to the laundry, and people did seem to do the laundry often late into the night, but you can hardly hear it in your room, and it never woke me up). There are two hot plates and 1 of everything, plates, cups etc, I had a single room. It was all clean, though the bathroom is a little small and the taps are loose and the shower is a little dirty, but I've seen much worse for this price.

I didn't notice any bad smells or anything.

I stayed for 3 nights and found it to be great cheap spot to stay while visiting London.

rough around the edges and needs some investment but good value for money and passes cleanliness

Cleanliness met a minimum standard, kitchenette too (microwave and stove no oven). Lived up to expectations given it was low priced but had to meet a minimum standard. Noise from the busy road audible but not terrible. hangars in wardrobes, television worked for me (sky news only, bbc news channel didn't tune/work). minimal corridor noise (other guests). Shower works, hot water

Office chair in the room is worn and could be better for long evenings if you're sat on a laptop. Bed is passable but not the most comfortable compared to other places. Wifi was terrible, sometimes no connection (had to call to get them to restart router) and even when up was only fast enough for email really (so take tethering option). you need a flannel/sponge but towel and basic soap is provided (dispenser). taps needed a vice-like grip to close properly and rubber seals inside need replacing

This place was idea for me whilst I was working away for work. Upon entry entry I was politely greeted by the hotel rep and given the the keys and directions to my room. The room was clean, tidy, and well organised. Although the temperature outside was in its low single figure I felt that as soon as I stepped in to the room it was the ideal temperature comfort zone to ensure a good night sleep - and a great night sleep it was. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone wishing to stay in the Croydon area whether it's for business or pleasure.

Good studio units in East Croydon equipped with all basic necessities, 12 min walk to station, situated on high road, lots of halal food option

Well I saw a completely different picture from I got and for. A family of three having a cramped room can be quite challenging

It does the job for simple clean accommodation. Don't expect something high end. It was a midweek stay for work not a holiday and I wasn't expecting a 5* hotel so I was pleased with what I got.

Pro's:
Clean - bathroom pristine cleanliness and not a hair or mould in sight. I brought my own toiletries and the shower was clean and working perfectly.
Quiet - again it was midweek but the window backed onto a residential area, no loud traffic noise or noise inside the hotel - that was perfect.
Comfy bed - all clean and comfortable, pillows were thin but they gave me four so it worked out.
Location - Close to lots of restaurants and shops. Easy to get to central London and an Uber from Euton station was about £35. It's a 10 minute was to East Croydon station but I got an Uber for about £6 so lots of travel options.
Facilities in the room - iron with ironing board, microwave and cooker, cutlery and crockery. A fridge that worked well and was a good size. I was pleased with all these things, the chair wasn't comfy but that's a small issue. Coffee and tea with the kettle and some biscuits thrown in.
Staff very helpful, I had a massive bag and they took it to my room for ne as I was on the first floor.

Con's
Seat with the table was very uncomfortable so I sat on the bed.
TV only had one working channel and I was there for 2 nights.
Check in before 10pm and I would like to have arrived later.
No lift and no rooms on ground floor (though they helped with my luggage coming up and down the stairs)

All in all I had a great stay, again it is basic furniture and fittings but for the price and what you get it was well worth the stay and location.
