Service was good, the receptionist was very nice and welcoming, he explained the breakfast times and bar opening times and advised me on where I could find my room which across the road in the opposite building.
When I got to our room, it was very outdated and certain areas required a deep clean. The shower door didn't shut fully and had a lot of mould and stains in parts of the shower. The towels were very nice, clean and fresh and the bedding was also nice. Beds were quite firm but comfy enough. We had a ground floor room which looked out at the car park so while in the room we had to shut the curtains as other guests would easily be able to see into our room. Didn't feel like the room had been hoovered, there was a lot of dust on the carpet next to the skirtings. Housekeepers did come in while we were out, we had fresh towels and the beds made and clean coffee cups. Room facilities were good, we had an iron, mini hairdryer, kettle and a coffee and tea selection.
Breakfast was included which was situated in the main building, a good selection and the cooked breakfast buffet was very good but not much choice with fruits, yogurts and the cereal selection is very bland. Overall service was good, every member of staff we are spoken with has been fantastic. When we came back late Saturday night our room key wouldn't work, we went back to the main reception, he fixed our key then the security guard was very nice and walked us to our room to make sure we got in okay. Main complaint overall was the grime around the edges of the shower and the shower door, this wouldn't cost anything to fix other than a deep clean and would make a massive difference.

Staff were very helpful when we needed to change the room for my elderly father to a lower floor as there isn't a lift. Rooms were clean linen and towels very clean. Breakfast fresh and plentiful if something was empty the staff would soon fill it for you.

The hotel is not at all good what was expected to be. The lady at the reception in morning (day time)is very rude and not supportive at all.She should know in hospitality line polite behavior towards the guests overcome the other drawbacks. Staff at night is far better than her.The rooms are quite small
and there is no room service available except the time they come for cleaning which is not fixed. Overall the service is bad.

Given the price of the rooms, I guess I shouldn’t grumble but I will. My accommodation was in an annex across a busy road which you have to cross each morning to get to breakfast.
The external door to the block of rooms I was in clearly has a fault and took up to 10 attempts to open and the Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room I was in.
Parking is wholly inadequate for the number of rooms and the option of putting my car in the rear yard of a local, empty building did not appeal at all.
On the upside, breakfast was included in the room price so value for money was good.
I won’t book again but if you want an inexpensive room and your not too fussy about the things that bothered me, it might be ok for you.

The room was on the second floor and really small, the remote control for the tv wasn’t working and was told maintenance would fix it in the morning!!!The shower was quite good although it was a very small cubicle and a low angled ceiling. The radiator in the room didn’t work.
Breakfast was a buffet style with a good selection, sausage, bacon hash browns etc.
Plus cereals,yoghurt’s and fruit drinks

Had a terrible experience and service from this hotel. We stayed for our wedding night was met at reception by a man who complained we were late. I still had my wedding dress on, weighed down with bags presents etc no offer to help. Entered their most expensive room with an awful damp smell. No loo roll or clean towels told reception without an apology. Also there were bulbs out stains on carpet and cracked sink. Room cost over £100! Sent an email explaining the issues over 2 weeks ago still no response. Their customer service needs addressing.

I want to express how disappointed in how I was treated today by the office staff at this hotel. I am visiting London from abroad and have been so impressed on how kind everyone has been to me. Except for today by the front office man (I didn’t get his name but i will).

There is never a need to argue and talk over and down to your customers, especially in hospitality. If there is a miscommunication Try to resolve it in grace. The man talked down to me and over me and all I wanted was clarification because I was told to come back after 5 to change my room and he acted as if I lied. I was so emotionally spent I cried to my people and just couldn’t believe i was treated that way. If my hardworking uncle hadn’t already paid for the week I would check out instantly.

We checked in the hotel for 1 week and I was placed in a room right by the entrance so and I guess the walls are not insulated because the room shakes and you can hear every heavy door slam and step. I hadn’t slept In 2 days so I asked the lady at the front if I could have my room changed, she said to come in the morning and they would see. The next day I came around 2 and was told that I should of came in the morning but I explained that I was unavailable and if there still a room available. She informed me that the cleaning staff had already left but she would inform the evening staff to put me in another room that was at the other end of the hall. I said no problem and that I would come back after 5.

I don’t know what she communicated to the evening staff but the man was hostile to me and even threatened to call her like I was making it up. Sir why are you arguing with me? Why are you talking to me In this way?? I am a patron just like everyone else and deserve some dignity.
