The Burton Hotel

Lovely friendly staff. Enjoyed use of the pool most relaxing and very clean with friendly staff again. Requested that our beds were separated which was dealt with very effeciently. Lovely stay. Looking forward to coming again. THANKYOU ALL.

What a fantastic little find, great rooms, v comfy beds, staff were amazing really helpful, sooo polite, good was outstanding aswell, great location if wanted to nip out exploring, the spa facilities were top notch aswell.
Highly recommended we will def be staying here again.

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because when we arrived for check in from 3pm, there was a sign saying the hotel was closed until 5pm. We hadn’t been communicated with at all and when phoning no one picked up. Other guests arrived and were saying the same thing.
However, that said, the adjoining spa (which hotel guests have free access to) were very helpful and let us wait in the warm. They also tracked down the hotel staff and we ended up checking in shortly before 4, so not a bad wait really.
Turns out they were having electrical works done and didn’t have guests that morning so decided to close the hotel during the day. Perfectly sound decision but a phone call or email would have made all the difference. It struck me as a complete one off, so don’t be put off or anything, they were very apologetic at check in and the rest of our stay was delightful.
The spa next door is a great facility to have and so lovely to be able to use as part of our stay. The room was very clean, comfortable and as described. Food was great and the staff were fantastic.
All in all, a small negative in an otherwise fantastic stay!

Nice rooms in the new annexe - very quiet and comfortable beds.
Spa is quite small, but good sauna , steam room and hot tub.
Good, tasty food in the restaurant and a good breakfast that is included.

Very welcoming with nice selection of good quality food. Some modern rooms and a lovely spa. I stayed there as part of a golf society visit to Kingston GG. The hotel helped organise a package deal and it was great.

Superb hotel. Great food, friendly staff, quality spa, excellent at organising golf trips, great value for money. An oasis in the Herefordshire countryside.

The rooms were spotless, the staff were polite and very helpful nothing was too much trouble, the food was outstanding, very quiet and peaceful infact we enjoyed our experience so much we have booked another stay

Had a great weekend break in this hotel. Loved the location, bed comfortable, rooms spacious. Big well done to Phllippinian chef. Food taste so good (which I must say is very rare in hotels around), but mostly I want to say big thank you and well done to an amazing, caring staff, especially David! My husband said he wish he had staff like this. Extremely good and professional. (David we wish you all the best!) We felt very welcomed and looked after.

Few things I would advise to improve. Breakfast itself (found it quite poor), and sauna and steam room heat. Felt quite cold, not strong enough.

Overall great hotel, would definitely come back again.
