Croydon Park Hotel

Nice hotel, room was adequate, good customer service. We stayed I December so there was a lovely Xmas buffet menu. My sleep was Okay, the bed didn't feel too comfortable. Breakfast was nice except the scrambled eggs didn't taste right. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.

Place is reasonable, although not as nice as I would have expected for a 4* hotel.
I was there for a business lunch and the choice of food available from the buffet was reasonable enough.
However, the several of the chairs were stained with ripped and worn away upholstery.
Also, the general cleanliness of the cutlery, etc., should have been better.
The service was variable: the first waiter was poor; but the second was better and as attentive as I would have expected.
Overall, an average experience.

I was very impressed. The staff were very welcoming and very professional. My nephew held his wedding reception here. He and his wife to be, chose a vegetarian menu and as a non vegetarian, found all of the courses delicious. The venue was decorated to a high standard as well. Lovely!

Dirty rooms, the beds were clean but the water in the room was brown, stains in the shower and toilet. Been here nearly 3 nights and have had no housekeeping.
Informed staff of a strong smell of weed which was giving everyone headaches that was dismissed.
£27 for one person for a buffet dinner which was all gone by the time we got there.
Restaurant staff were rude!
Only 1 lift for the whole building.

Definitely not worth the money or a 4 star hotel. I would love my money back tbh this has been such a disappointing stay

Everything was great, value for money, staff are amazing especially the bar staff. Not enough people on reception. Was upgraded to a executive suite on arrival which was amazing. Room was clean, a little cold as the heating wasnt to great but the food was nice. Bar food when ordered does need a little thinking about as they tend to forget and your sat waiting for a while or have to remind them, the bar gets busy and theres only 2 people on it which holds up the wait for your food to come out. Would 100% stay again, right next to station, perfect to get anywhere :-)

The staff was extremely courteous. The rooms were clean. The food was great. The bathtub floor is higher than the actual floor, so one has to be very careful stepping out of of the shower. Other than that, I had a great time.

The rooms were old and cold and the hotel offered room service from 11pm-7am but we're turned away when we called to order some food during this time. It was clean though and the staff were friendly.

In general I would say Travel Lodge or Premier Inn is better value for money. I imagine this hotel was good back in the day but man it needs some money putting into it!

It's a big hotel whereby the owners can't afford to maintain it. Basically, it's living in past glory. My room had no heating, I had to call for some electric heaters which was promised but never arrived. The only redeeming factors was there was hot water and very good breakfast buffet. Croydon Park Hotel, stop collecting money from customers when you know you don't have heating in your rooms.
