Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross, an IHG Hotel

We had a wonderful time. The spa was very clean and although the pool is not huge it’s a lovely space. The jacuzzi was superb, the strong jets give you an amazing massage. The sauna and steam room were very clean too. I used the gym in the morning and it was well equipped and airy. Our hotel room was immaculate. Dinner was included in our booking and the starters and mains were excellent. Chocolate dessert was ok, breakfast the next day was excellent too. The staff were all very professional and we have to mention the reception staff and the restaurant waiters were especially kind. Highly recommended.

Clean, good sized rooms. Good sized bathroom with rain shower or hand held shower. Good products and option to ask for more items if needed - which felt good sustainability wise. Complimentary snacks, ironing board, good size TV. Friendly staff.
Only thing I found difficult in the room was putting on make up (we were there for a wedding) as it was difficult to get close to mirrors in our room (desk in the way, sink in the way) so a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would have been super! But otherwise a lovely stay so would recommend (you need a car to get around the area).

We returned to this hotel after a two - year gap (mainly due to covid).



We were not disappointed. From the friendly welcome at reception every single member of staff we encountered throughout our stay was helpful and professional. We were upgraded to a suite which was Immaculate and very impressive. The pool was a delight and the jacuzzi clearly upgraded since our last stay. We enjoyed time in the Club Lounge before dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent both in terms of quality and quantity.



Breakfast was just as impressive with a wide range of options available from full English, Continental with lots of fresh fruit dishes in addition.



We were thoroughly impressed by all aspects of our stay and would recommend this hotel without reservation.

I have stayed art many many Hotels in the UK. This one was exceptional from start to finish. I enjoyed the check in and out experience, The Breakfast ( Awesome) and the Bar staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly. I have stayed here before and it gets better every time. I would recommend this Hotel to all of my friends, Family and Business associates.

Found hotel generally outdated, not very clean. Especially in the area where our room was, carpets were filthy and everything covered in dust. Our room was tiny! And looked onto an old wall, which can’t have been more than a metre away from our window, and also an old ladder was laying in front of the wall. We booked a club room so was expecting something a bit nicer, room was so dark because of this. The bathroom was also tiny, there wasn’t even enough space for me to put my wash bag on a surface. We did ask if we could move rooms, but there wasn’t availability. Our room was also very close to restaurant, and there was an office next door, so it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. I had booked an aromatherapy massage which was lovely, staff were lovely in the spa and fitness area, I found them helpful. Unfortunately I found the spa pools and changing rooms really dirty though and there was literally brown sludge floating on the top of spa pool bubbles.
We found the club lounge underwhelming also unfortunately, good offer for drinks and some canapés, but the general ambiance was again outdated, I felt as though I was in a dodgy airport lounge.
We enjoyed our dinner and found the staff to be really friendly, generally the meal was very good value and for the drinks.
Breakfast in the morning was really good!
Unfortunately because of our room and general cleanliness I can only rate OK.

Web sites always make the hotel, rooms etc. look better than they really are, but this time it was true. This hotel is amazing, quality all the way. In a peaceful setting yet close to London, with excellent parking. Staff were welcoming and helpful and the room was one of the best I have ever stayed in, luxury bedding, towels etc. and very quiet.

General hotel staff very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and mostly well maintained. The corridors to the rooms are in need of a bit of TLC but the rooms themselves are very nicely furnished if a tad small. The complimentary tea coffee and soft drinks was a nice touch.
The biggest letdown was the event staff/food and the prices at the bar. The event staff were either clueless or frankly rude making you feel like your requests were beneath them. The event food was cliche mass catering, okay, but nothing special, especially for a hotel such as this.
The bar prices were astronomical and included a service fee every time which is always an uncomfortable request to ask to remove.

We liked our room and are happy to be able to check in a little bit earlier. The roon is clean and has modern decor. Lovely Christmas trees throughout. Great facilities and the bar looks inviting so we will be spending some time there. The staff so far have been helpful.
