Amazing Sunday Roasts, excellent quality food, reasonably priced for such high quality.
Wonderfully friendly, chatty staff.
Pub is immaculately clean and tidy, we will definitely visit again when we're in the area. Thanks to all the lovely staff.

I had the good fortune to stay here over the weekend 14/15 May 22 & what an absolute gem. Great location, fabulous facilities & charming hosts. The evening menu was perhaps a bit limited, but the food was well cooked & presented. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, with freshly brewed coffee included.

Just home after staying for about three weeks in The Red Admiral.
We had such a wonderful holiday! Our room was comfortable, spacious, nice bathroom and a lovely bed.
The food is really great! And what makes you really feel at home is the nice, friendly staff. And even more so the owners David and Michelle.
They are always up for a nice chat, give good tips for trips in the area and are just super hospitable. We really hope to come back to this nice place!

We had a great Bank Holiday stay with 4 family members on the campsite and 2 others in the hotel. The hotel room was clean and spacious with two double beds. Views from window wasn't the best and there was noise from the road and farm machinery but we didn't mind as we were touring around the lakes and climbing mountains. Friendly owner, great price and everything we wanted.

I booked months ago, upon arrival were shown a dingy downstairs bedroom, no natural light, tinted windows overlooking rubbish.
We did get offered the only other room available, however found out afterwards there were actually 'nice' rooms.
I am unsure why they didn't offer those.

Stayed after a long day hiking; the water was lovely & hot, the beds were comfy, the staff were friendly & accommodating. Tasty food & a nice selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Had Sunday roast at the Red Admiral on Sunday 11th Dec, with the whole family including a 4 month old. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we could squeeze the pram in and to make us comfortable. Very friendly and good service and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend! Nothing better than a roaring fire, good food in a beautiful traditional pub on a wintry day!
