West Lodge Hotel

Friendly welcome, shown to room away from main building (converted stable iirc). Comfy bed, clean room / bathroom. Nice breakfast room with cereal etc buffet and cooked breakfast. Very efficient and convivial. Would stay again if in the area.

Recently held, yet another, event at Westlodge. This time we were celebrating my mum's big birthday. We had a lovely afternoon in the beautiful garden and then an extremely tasty three course meal (for 17) all cooked by Julie. The two young lady servers were extremely polite and the service from everybody was second to none. Breakfast, the following morning, was as always excellent.
If you are wanting a small venue for a family/friends event then you can not go wrong with Westlodge Hotel. Julie and Mike always go out of their way to accommodate your every need. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Wonderful little place. The room was very comfortable and cozy, had everything we needed. The garden is beautiful, feels like a sanctuary. And great breakfast!

A beautiful hotel full of character. On our arrival we were given a warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and overlooked a beautiful garden. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. Good choice of continental and cooked breakfast and was perfectly cooked. Will definitely go back there.

Had a lovely 2 night stay in this beautiful Hotel. Our accommodation was in one of the garden rooms which was amazing. Lovely friendly Staff and great full breakfasts. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back in the future.

Very bad experience. Booked my accommodation for the night. Called the Lodge @ 10.00 when y booking had been confirmed just before setting off. No response. Only to receive a phone call from Julie advising me to either pay more for a disabled room or cancel the booking which I did. But to my surprise I have been charged for services not received. I found her to be very rude and not pleasant at all.

What an experience. Clean hotel, the self check in got us by surprise but this place is soo interesting. A definite if you visit the area and is looking for a memorable time.

We booked this beautiful venue for our wedding in August 2021. It was the first place we had looked at, and didn't need to look any further. The setting looked perfect for our needs. Julie and Mike advised and supported us throughout the procedure and were very flexible in any suggestions for our big day. We were able to hold our ceremony in the lovely garden and all of our guests were thrilled with both the venue and the attention received by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I would have no hesitation in recommending West Lodge Hotel for a special event.
