Longlands Hotel & Cottages

We went to the restaurant for a meal only, didn't stay for night. Very nice place, quick service, we waited for meal for reasonable time, got it hot and tasty. Menu for kids. Very nice and efficient staff. Perfect place to drink and dine out with friends. Great outdoor space, though due to the weather we had our meal inside.

We stopped for lunch here. The food was OK, not bad, not great. However the prices are pretty premium and for those prices you'd expect better food. Also the staff, while helpful, seemed very co fused about how to run the bar and whether they were even serving food or not (while dozens were eating and waiting for food at the time).

Food was lovely for tea and breakfast. Great options. Lovely place. Would be a little better for hotel guests if it was clearer where the reception desk is, for someone who has never stayed before I wasn’t shown the way around. Room was basic but nice and clean. Bathroom lovely with the bath. No moisturiser in the room but great place and value for money. Staff were polite friendly and attentive too.

Great place to just pop in for a brew or a meal really great food and nice hospitality Would highly recommend it to anyone from a few to a family gathering loads of room and good parking also. 👍 Haven't stayed over night but would be quite sure it will be amazing.

Organised a lunch for 24 people at the longlands. Fabulous venue food was very good. I have to make a special comment that the staff were excellent and especially Rachel. I felt we were looked After as though we were in a five star hotel. This was backed up by my guests who contacted me after the event to tell me how they were impressed with it all.

We were staying at the nearby Pine Lakes Resort. Went for dinner Sunday night. Very nice venue, lively bar.
Food and drink and service all excellent. A bit more expensive than some places but worth the extra in our opinion.

We found this gorgeous Inn for a two night getaway. We stayed in the Inn. The room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The restaurant was fabulous, with stylish furnishings, beautiful crockery and amazing drinks selection. The breakfast menu was superb with buffet continental and hot dishes served by the kitchen. The evening menu was varied and very delicious.
Our service was superb by Marcel and Billy and by all of the front of house team.
Jeanette who was head of housekeeping kept the place absolutely spotless.
Well worth the visit and we will definitely return.

Visited 3 times last year, once this year so far... ( New year must count for both..) Always had a great stay, to the degree that some of the staff now feel more like friends... Food was again, excellent. All in all, a great weekend away... Looking forward to visiting again soon... PS, for those looking for extra value, look at the "lazy Sunday" offer which includes a bottle of wine and your evening meal...
