Stayed here the night before the Coast to Coast Bike and was very impressed. We booked a family room for ourselves and my Dad / dog who were our support. They're very dog friendly and do early breakfast for people doing the Coast to Coast Bike Ride. The room was very clean, goof storage and lovely bathroom. Wonderful

The Kellbank is just right for basing or stopping off adventures, hikes, and trips into the Lakes.
The staff are friendly, accommodating, and sympathetic to adventure sports, laying on breakfast for us at 0400!
Beyond that, the attached restaurant serves just the fare you need to recover from a hard slog or set you up for the next one: have the pie! It’s a real pie, not soup with a hat on!!!

I am really glad to say that I enjoyed my stay at Kellbank. They have nice rooms , nice bar , good restaurant and tasty food. The room I stayed in was a little bit small but it was clean and tidy. They don't charge you for your dog and you have breakfast included ( it is not a buffet ) . For dinner we ordered in the restaurant and the food was tasty and the prices were decent. From here you can go by car to the most beautiful lake I have ever seen with a 15 min drive. The staff is very lovely and polite.

We had a wonderful few days. Food was delicious.Area is beautiful.The head of house who originally came from Cambridge way, was a lovely guy. Super helpful.We loved our stay and will be going back to Kellbank. Thank you very much 😘

Nice place to stay when you travel around lake district. Only take 20 minutes to wast water lake and 30 to 60 minutes to muncaster castle and steam train.rooms are big and cosy.meals are tasty and reosanably priced.overall really good place to stay..

We weren't staying in the hotel but cottages near by. Can't fault it food great staff helpful and friendly. Can get quite busy and if you eat in the bar then football is often on... Don't mind it but the size of the tvs it's hard to not be distracted by it lol

Not like the ultra modern hotels with everything electronic but has a lovely charm about it. Excellent food also.
