I am writing this review at 5.23 am here at the Ned because I have given up trying to sleep. We are staying in room 202 ironically called a Crash Pad - believe you me - you’ll do anything but crash. Christ knows what is outside our bedroom windows, they’re frosted, but I can only assume it’s the deliveries entranc? We’ve had three lots of mass bottle recycling overnight and now I can hear the delivery trolleys being offloaded from the lorries. Oh, and we’ve had p****d guests wandering around shouting outside our door at various intervals for good measure. I think we’ve paid over £400 for this torturous experience. Undoubtedly the most overpriced room I’ve ever stayed in given the experience. I’ve just found earplugs in the bathroom - there should be neon signs in the room warning you to not even attempt to sleep without using them.

We tried the concierge service yesterday to get us a booking at the Duck and Waffle. I ended up having to chase them last night and it turns out they had made the booking - but they’d sent the confirmation to another guest - Sarah Graham - staying in a different room. They did eventually send me the details - I just hope we won’t find our table has been taken by the other guest when we get there later.

In fairness the rest of hotel looks very stylish and the atmosphere in the lobby is excellent- I can’t comment on the food or drink as we haven’t tried any. But on this experience we won’t be coming back.

First impressions, this place is absolutely stunning. We went for dinner at the parlour on a Saturday when the cabaret was on, great entertainment from the singing to the burlesque performer. The food was good as was the service. Definitely worth it for a special occasion (as it does cost a few quid).

One of the most wonderful hotels I have seen. Located right by Bank station, The Ned features a magnificent architecture with vast, tall interiors, welcoming staff, and an accommodating environment.

You can become a Member of their Private Members Club to enjoy some of the more enclosed areas of their Hotel, although it comes in pricey and requires an introduction/referral from existing members.

Within and downstairs you will also find a huge armoured safe, circular, like you see in ancient movies. It is absolutely mind boggling.

Definitely worth a visit.

100% we will be back to this hotel when we return to London. Service and housekeeping is absolutely mind blowingly perfect. Amenities in our room we fantastic. Cool decor. We stayed in the Heritage Suite which isn't inexpensive but you definitely feel like your money was well spent. Lovely in every possible way. I'd give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!

Nice hotel, in a very good location for someone on a business trip. Has a lot to offer especially the party atmosphere in its lobby with the multiple restaurants and bars. My room was a bit noisy, I could hear the rubbish track early in the morning. Bed was good.

The NED is unquestionably the best location for having your business meets for membership holders. The service there is alright but definitely could be better. The location is the most ideal as it is in the bank area right in the heart of financial district. Just tried beverages and drinks and was alright. The rooms are very contemporary and cozy.

A grand building which is matched by its interior, superior food and professional staff. Visited for a meeting and was blown away by the standard of the lunch offered. A fantastic atmosphere downstairs and often overprescribed. Definitely worth a visit.

First time I have visited the Ned and I have to say I was pretty impressed with the whole experience. It is such an iconic building and they have turned it into something special. The atmosphere was fantastic and they even had a band playing on a small platform. It was extremely busy with the whole Christmas buzz.
