Holiday Inn Maidstone - Sevenoaks

We stayed here for Brands Hatch and it was very decent. 10 min drive away. Pretty typical room but it was clean and spacious. Nice breakfast buffet and the front desk staff were lovely. Even random staff we saw walking around the hotel were super friendly and polite. We didn't use any of the amenities as it was just a quick overnight stay but would stay again. We ate supper at the beefeater 10 min walk up the road.

This was the selected hotel, where everyone was staying for a wedding.
Pros: Buffet food for event the night before the wedding was pretty good. Nice courtyard area. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly good.
Cons: Our hotel room was in desperate need of an update. There was a giant stain on the dark carpet. There were large red and orange stains on the bath mat inside the bath. There were lots of small black hairs around the bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be very comfortable with nice friendly staff. The reception areas have been recently updated and are extremely attractive with a quality feel. The room corridors and my bedroom were clean but in need of refurbishment. My executive room was well equipped with a comfortable (double) bed. Breakfast buffet was excellent but not exceptional. Tables were cleared promptly and food was regularly restocked.

This was the first time i had used this particular hotel but it was very pleasant. When i stay in hotels i always want a clean room and a good nights sleep, i got of those but additionally a large room with comfortable seating that wasn't a desk chair or the bed. This really adds to the overall experience of being away from home but able to relax in a style more relevent to the normal day to day expectations

Fantastic hotel. Booked it for my parents 25th wedding anniversary as they got married here. Fantastic service, friendly staff, great food and a beautiful environment. They supplied us with a projector to show a video, let us use the function room till late and provided us with a friendly service throughout. The pool was also amazing along with the breakfast which had honey from the honeycomb and a pancake machine. Best cook breakfast I’ve had in awhile! Didn’t use the gym but it was full equipped and even had a peloton bike!

Overall very happy. Room was clean and warm. Staff were very polite and helpful. The bathroom was a little dated and plug hole dirty. And dust along skirting in main room. Choice at breakfast was good although could maybe do with being a little warmer. But would stay again

Bed was comfortable, good amount of pillows. Room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was great - with a good variety of options available. Location suited us perfectly for a party in the pub up the road and it’s proximity to the motorway was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sevenoaks/Maidstone. There were only a few little things that niggled. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. We were glad that the parking check-in was adressed this time. Last time we stayed, we ended up with a parking fine. That time, the parking sign-in wasn't at the check in desk and the receptionist didn't tell us we had to use the parking check-in as well as leaving our registration at reception.
But we thought paying for the parking on top of your stay was a bit off.
The room although clean at touch points, had cobwebs dangling over the dressing mirror from the ceiling. If using the dressing table/desk you couldn't help but see them.
We were entitled to an upgrade, when we booked which was really lovely. It is nice to feel a bit spoilt with a few extras in your room. All the staff were really polite and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you
