Cheap and cheerful, but clean and reasonably comfortable. Unfortunately there during the heatwave and there is no temperature control in the rooms (bar a desktop fan) or air conditioning. Despite this had a good stay, location was great and plenty of places to go for a few drinks and food. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast box

No disability access only through staff entrance using old wooden made ramp to get in. Disability room very large room only because there's no shelf's to put luggage on. Bathroom good disabled toilet and shower down side only a hand basin to wash in and again no shelfing to put wash stuff on by the sink and in shower. View from window a very dirty court yard with dirty windows.

Good location, although incredibly basic. For £172 a night you can expect a really tiny room, with a tiny en-suite and not much else. The room looked directly into a staff canteen opposite which was a little odd, so the curtains were closed for the duration! It is also worth noting it is incredibly loud with a lot of noise from the street, so take some ear plugs!
The receptionist was polite and the room was clean. I booked and paid a little extra for breakfast which I personally wouldn't recommend - you only find out on arrival there is no breakfast room, just a takeout box with cornflakes, flapjack and orange juice which was a little frustrating; I'd recommend a room only rate and grab breakfast elsewhere.

Very basic. Hidden out of the way but close to where I needed to be for a week - would have much preferred a hotel with a. A bar b. A restaurant. Breakfast boxes are a bit pants. Very small sink and strong pressure tap= water all over the floor. Building works right outside 👌

The noise from outside was unbearable, I've never stayed somewhere so loud. My room was directly next to a building site so from around 6am all I could hear was work going on outside - machines, tools and loud crashes every 30 seconds.

Also, through the night the bin lorries were doing their collections on the street outside my window, so I literally had no sleep in the two nights I was here.

Then to top it off I booked a late check out which was pointless. My room being opposite the cleaning supply cupboard, meant that from around 8am all I heard was the cleaner dragging and dumping items like they were the only person in the hotel -massively inconsiderate and unprofessional.

All this for 200+ gbp a night which is absolutely disgraceful. I won't even bother trying to get refunded as I know they won't entertain it, but its safe to say I will never be staying here again.

Staff were helpful
Rooms were so basic, tiny TV, no air con
Hard to control temp, window by the bed let in draft
Squeaky bed
The worst part was the design of the shower meant it constantly leaked everywhere and I had to spend time in the mornings drying it up.
Breakfast box was super basic
Nowhere to get cutlery if you order food since they don't have any kitchen or cooking facilities

Entry to the hotel is down an alleyway so if you are staying as a solo traveler, you may feel a little nervous entering and leaving the hotel at night. Other downside is the bar downstairs tends to empty bottle bins around 1am (I’ve stayed here 3 times and sadly it’s been like clockwork that I’ve been woken up at this time by what sounds like a recycling centre outside my window…)

If you are staying as a pair and you are a heavy sleeper, it’s worth a cheap stay for 1 night.

Better hotels around in my opinion

Comfortable bed. Sink was overflowing but once I reported it, it was sorted out. No phone in the room which I think is dangerous and inconvenient. Located in a very weird place and can be noisy if you leave your window open.
