London Marriott Hotel Kensington

Giving it a 4 star because house keeping was excellent and rooms were in good shape. Modern bathrooms, clean and tidy. We were told our room was upgraded but the room was in a dark corner overlooking a parking lot. Not sure what the upgrade was.

Other than that the hotel was a disappointment. The “executive lounge” was a joke. It was in a dark room that made you feel like it was a dungeon of some sort. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Food was pretty cold.

Concierge couldn’t help with reservations or bookings for vague reasons “I couldn’t get in touch with them” or “my shift ended before they opened”

TV - can’t connect Netflix but can connect Amazon from your phone (which means you can’t use your phone) a bit dated.

Location is good but other than that you can stay elsewhere for a better hotel experience.

We had very good experience at the London Marriott in Kensington.
The food service was great. The breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful and the dinner buffet was very good as well. The room was smaller than Marriott I've stayed in the U.S. but larger than other European locations.
The staff was courteous and very helpful.
Its close to the district, circle and Piccadilly lines.
I would return to this location on my next rip to London.

This resort is the best rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be let down.

1st time staying at this location, but it is a very nice hotel and the staff are AWESOME!!!! Every person, I spoke to for any reason they were kind, helpful, attentive, courteous, and just flat out nice. Planning another trip in a few months.....this is where I plan to stay.

I stayed here in 2018 but didn't write my review yet. The mattress was soft and lumpy and uneven and I woke up in total body pain every day.

Their mattresses need replacing. Search the word mattress or bed in the reviews and you will see what I mean.

If you don't care about the bed then it was great, there was free food a couple times a day for certain rooms and the staff and room were excellent otherwise If the bed was comfortable I would have given it 5 stars.

First time staying here, and I love this hotel. The restaurant/ bar downstairs has good food options for a hotel and depending on what you want to see in London, the location of this hotel is wonderful for walking. 20 to 30 minutes and you are anywhere that you really want to be.

Really enjoyed my stay, staff were all nice. Room was clean and spacious. Good nights sleep. However, I had an issue with my breakfast. But was resolved straight away after addressing the issue. Also received a birthday dessert when I got back into my room in the evening. Thank you!

Amazing stay, we were gutted it was only for one night. We had 2 x family rooms which were so spacious and from the moment we arrived all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had booked to park, but the car park, ran independently from the hotel, was a disappointment, we were actually glad there were no spaces as it didn't look particularly safe. Luckily we were able to park on the ramp directly outside the front door. Breakfast was lovely, great choice, and my husband said his omelette was delicious. Great access to tubes, and we walked to Harrods, took us about 20 minutes. Our first trip away since covid and we had the best weekend. Thank you to all the staff.

The staff were superb. Hassan was excellent. I cannot thank them all enough for making our stay so good. Nothing was too much trouble. The front of house, the concierge, the bar staff. Everyone was brilliant. The staff in the hotels in New York can take a note of these workers. Thank you.
